Laveta is a super cute minimalistic cafe located close to echo park lake in Los Angeles. They have their own parking lot, which already is an A+. But since it is a small lot, there is street parking all around. They have really cool inside seating as well as outdoor seating.
They offer coffee, matcha and teas. But let’s not ignore the food they offer, which I highly recommend you try out! I’ve heard the burger is delicious but haven’t tried it because I’m obsessed with their Avacado toast! It’s literally the best Avacado I’ve had! Their coffee is good as well. I’ve had their iced vanilla latte, which you can’t go wrong with. I also enjoyed one of their signature coffee, the laveta.

Been here twice now. Only critique is the service. While the atmosphere is beautiful physically speaking, personally staff here have felt cold each time. First time it was most likely due to a misunderstanding with my order but second time felt more intentional. As a person of color I take where I spend my money VERY serious . Sometimes the notion that your unwelcomed is more subtle than loud. Safe to say I won’t return any time soon, sucks cause Food was delicious tho!

My Go-To Café Vibe – Laveta Never Misses
Laveta is that café I keep coming back to. Every drink on the menu is bomb—whether you’re a matcha girlie or a coffee purist, they’ve got you. I’m obsessed with their flat white, and the mushroom porridge? So comforting and flavorful, it hits every time.
It’s also such a good spot to post up with your laptop. I love sitting outside—there’s something about the light, the energy, the calmness that makes it the perfect little work oasis.
The drinks, the food, the vibe… all 10/10. Just go. You’ll get it.

Cool coffee shop space in echo park with delicious coffee. The food is great as well. I always get the Laveta and recently tried the Andante. Very tasty. Also the prosciutto toast was divine as well. Very LA spot, and on the weekends it can get very busy so keep that in mind.

Early Thursday morning walk in it's little to no foot traffic the aesthetics are very rustic and realism, enjoying the full experience of just a bare bones with great coffee and service, the UBE is a must go to! And the avocado toast hit way harder then the UBE waffles I'd go for matcha tea as well. Would come back
