Best roasted duck in LA. The price may be a little expensive but you pay what you get. Hands down best roasted duck in LA. Also this place is cash only so remember to bring plenty if you're planning to visit this place. The free parking is nice but it's so small. It's a 50/50 chance whether you'll get a parking spot. Don't chance it trying to parking on the street without putting some coins in the meter. Meter maids have increased their presence in Chinatown.
My go-to place every time I visit LA. Discovered this hidden gem in my 1 week stay in LA. I was staying at the Best Western Dragon Inn Hotel which was about 5 mins walk away from this place. We ordered pork belly, bbq pork and a nice bowl of steaming warm rice. Everything paired perfectly. They also give out sauces to go with your food. I unfortunately could not get roasted duck as you have to call in advance, but I was very satisfied with my food. This place is cash only and they also sell grocery too. Prices are reasonable. Give this place a try if you want real authentic Chinese food made by Chinese uncles!

Very traditional Cantonese style bbq deli place. They have the best Cantonese roast duck in the old Chinatown!

Their BBQ duck is great. BBQ pork in the other hand is a bit difficult to chew
The taste is good and the portion is big, unless you are a big eater ?

BBQ pork here is fire!!!
Roast pork smell. Dry. Not enough seasoning. And not crispy. Roast duck also dry.. not juicy... not as people describe..

BBQ pork here is fire!!!
Delicious Cantonese bbq. Crispy pork is among the best I have had in LA area, always a good cut ( evenly fat lean) forget about the hipster joints popping up everywhere. Support the OG. Pig intestines ( chitterlings) is also a must try. Also offers a solid supply of Chinese pantry staples like sauces, rice, noodles, eggs, pickles, perhaps a selection of fresh greens depending on the day.
My Wife votes their seafood platter (Seafood Tower) the best he's ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great - fast and friendly. Clam Chowder was oh-so-good, very thick and not runny with loads of clams. Please note that the photo doesn't do justice. Ambiance was great - perfect for a dinner date or for a big family gathering. Definitely will be returning again and again! Highly recommend.
Cant get better than a traditional roast duck from chinatown
A family member picked up some Lien Hoa on the way home. The pork skin was fresh and crispy while the meat was juicy and flavorful. The tenderness was definitely there. Excited about coming back for more! ?
