What I like the most is the warm welcoming of Carmen and the rest of the staff. Their open smiles, their greetings and occasional jokes make my day. In a world where there is no more customer service in hospitality this place feels like an oasis. I hope it never changes. I come here just because of this: food and drinks fall in a second place

A very nice, small place at the campus. I came there for coffee during lunch time and it was relatively quiet and calm. It gives you the feeling of a very laid back, a bit hidden from the main, crowded paths of the campus. It's rather a coffee place, although they do offer a modes selection of food. However, since the soup of the day was chicken-based, as a vegetarian I went with a banana.

There are big sofas, individual seats and sockets, so many people use computers here?, very quiet and comfortable! The service attitude is very good.

A favorite place to meet my law school friends. Beautiful private, hidden gem at USC.

First time here and was really intrigued. Covered in plants but looks so cozy. The menu has a good variety of food but I came in for the Vietnamese coffee which was delicious and strong. Will be back to try something else.

Cheese foam and matcha are definitely two of my most favorite things.Literatea has an extensive menu, but what caught my eye was the Matcha w/ the cheese foam. The only downside to this place is that it does take a while to get your drinks, but the quality of tea makes up for it!Service is nice but they can be a little slow in acknowledging customers when they're waiting to order. If they have a bit more people working, it might go a little faster but I'm okay waiting so its not bothersome.

If you're the type who enjoys the natural flavors of tea, then you won't be disappointed with this up and coming cafe. I ordered a fruit tea medley that went well after a heavy dinner because it was refreshing and light. The cafe's friendly staff is extremely knowledgeable with the different types of tea like ceylon and pu-erh that they know how to mix the right ratio to enhance each distinct flavor of the tea. After talking to the staff for a while, I learned that it was their mission to make their teas as natural as possible using organic milk instead of creamer, fresh fruit, natural cane sugar instead of corn syrup, and cream cheese instead of sea salt cream powder.

Really friendly staff and one of the creamiest drinks I've had in LA, I definitely recommend

Literatea never disappoints. I've come here for years but now have learned about their zucchini bread (which only comes with certain menu items). I'm truly addicted. They have a really nice patio and their interior seating is nice as well. It's relatively casual and a nice place to meet with friends or go on a low-key date.

First time trying this place. Decided to check it out during breakfast and it was good. Started off with a white hot chocolate, and had the country fried steak that comes with eggs and potatoes. Would definitely come check it out again.

Too pricey if you are on a budget. Mainly a place to get a quick coffee, tea, or other beverage and a few food items.

Great place but running out of selections around 2-3pm.
