There's a very kind older couple running a lovely shop here. The place is kept clean, and they generously gave us extra shakes at no charge. The milkshakes are excellent, some of the best I've had in a long time.
The staff is plenty friendly and the service isn't slow at all, even when it's busy, which it was when I was there.Unfortunately, I wasn't very impressed with their boba. The mocha drink itself was pretty mediocre. I feel as if it may have been from some powder mixture, a good mixture at that, but still just a mixture. I could be wrong, however. Cute little ice cream shop in DTLA Little Tokyo; easy to miss from main path; not too many flavors of ice cream but pistacio was very good & nutty; shaved ice; mochi ice cream; reasonable prices; kind staff; support your local small businesses ?
