Nearly $14.00 for one small drip & one medium latte coffee.

Despicable. Came today Friday August 15 at 2:45pm, went to order coffee said hi to the barista behind the counter she looked at me without saying hi back. I said hi a second time she ignored me. There’s no way management should have someone like her working for them especially such a nice coffee shop in that area…I decided to take my money and go elsewhere. I will contact management soon about this matter.

Unexpected slice of heaven. I was walking up from LACMA to The Grove and found this charming “locals” coffee shop. Honey Lavender oat latte was wonderful. Georgie the barista was so sweet and helpful. And they have a yoga studio down the block! This space is so warm and inviting. Lots of comfy seating available to meet a friend or work for bit on your laptop. I will definitely be back!

A client recommended we meet here for an appointment. What a lovely place! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s relaxed and laid back. I got a chocolate chip cookie which was delicious! They also have a selection of jewelry which was really cool. I will definitely be back for a snack and coffee, and when I need to buy a unique gift!

Easily 10 stars but Google only allows for 5. Coffee, food, stuff, ambiance, music are all fantastic. This is the coffee shop we needed for years and I’m glad the team at lo/cal brought it to us. Cheers guys and thank you!

Went here for the first time, was really excited about it. The food looks amazing but the taste was underwhelming. 3 stars out of 5 in my opinion ??‍♀️

Stay away from this cafe. I had an issue I wanted to speak with a manager about and all the staff said there is no manager but the owner would be in soon and to leave my number he would call me back. But nobody ever call me back. I’ve been into the shop three times since then to try to speak to the owner and to leave my number again and each time nobody calls me back. I’ve rung them on the telephone about eight times and nobody ever answers I’ve sent text messages multiple times and nobody answers. It really seems they don’t care about their customers at all or their suggestions and feedback and complaints, so why give business to someone like this. There is too much other competition with much better coffee anyway. If this is how they treat me, I’m never going back again and giving them a cent of my money.

This place is how we coffee shops should be. Good coffee, chill atmosphere, great design, and the breakfast place was shockingly delicious.
