If I could rate it less than 0 stars, I would. Racist worker demands to see your phone when picking up Uber eats orders and blatantly accuses you of stealing. Seems he only does this for people of color
If you’re doing uber and are of color they demand you show your phone to “confirm “ even after giving the name and if you don’t they accuse you of trying to rob the place which is insane is they are scared of downtown maybe they should’ve opened business in a safer area and the little comment saying “was that so hard” from the man was very sassy and petty
Great coffee! Don’t actually open at 8am though!
We had a smoothie and a great drink, reminiscent of an agua fresca! Great service and a cool place. Study booth, nice seating areas. Worth a visit
Ordered oolong milk tea. Very disappointed. Tea either is low quality or not brewed properly. It has quite a bitter taste and not much tea aroma.
With the weather heating up lately, I was craving something refreshing and stumbled upon this hidden gem! Loose Leaf Boba Company is tucked away right behind The Biltmore Los Angeles hotel in DTLA, and it's an absolute must-try for authentic Taiwanese-style boba tea.
What sets this place apart is their perfectly cooked boba pearls – they've mastered that ideal chewy texture that's neither too soft nor too hard. As someone who's tried countless boba shops around LA, I can confidently say most places make their drinks way too sweet, but Loose Leaf Boba Company strikes the perfect balance with their authentic Asian-style preparation.
I ordered their popular Golden Matcha Milk Tea, and wow! They use organic matcha that creates this beautifully balanced flavor profile with the tea and boba pearls. Everything just works together harmoniously – no overwhelming sweetness, just pure, authentic taste.
If you find yourself in the DTLA area, definitely make the detour to try this place. It's refreshing to find a shop that prioritizes quality and authenticity over sugary drinks. Highly recommended!
Stopped by here as I was on a vacation in the southern california area, Instantly walked in to a super chill place with great vibes, great staff aswell and even great boba, definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area
It was my first time visiting this establishment. And it was clean and very calming. And that is what I really needed at the moment
Nice, clean spot, and kids loved the boba drinks
This has always been my fave place to get green milk tea, but this time I definitely get the tea was watered down. The matcha was just okay. It wasn’t what I expected. Since this place always has had the best quality. The coconut cream on my tea was very little. However I’m sure it was just because they were ready for close maybe. I think it could of been better. I hope to give this another try before I decide not to order again.

Good drinks, pretty low-key, and has great staff.
Drinks aren't too sweet and are relatively unique. Can't go wrong with tea or coffee here.
And yeah the bananas foster drink tastes like bananas foster lol
Oh and sometimes they're just not open, despite what Google maps says, but it's worth checking :)

Went here today since I was in the mood for a latte, this was my first time trying this spot & wow I’m glad I did! I tried the Ube Coconut Iced Latte & was really surprised how much I loved it, it had such an authentic taste of sweet potato & it was perfectly sweet (I got half sweet). I can’t wait to come here again to try their other drinks!
Literally the best boba!
The vibes here are real. This is a very relaxing spot with a super chill vibe.
The coffee is outstanding. I must have drank 4 of them.
The staff here is super cool and friendly.
