Great atmosphere, warm service, and delicious food from start to finish. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The staff were attentive without hovering, and the drinks were spot-on. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!
typical LA small plates pricey. 3 people, 8 small plates among us, no drinks, over $200 with tip. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff, just $$ for the amount of food. All the dishes were good, not wow, but tasty.
Pro: The food. Is. So. Good. Chef kiss* If I'm forced to pick the best dishes i tasted that night it would be #1 soft shell crab taco, #2 mar -esquite #3 scallop tostada. Con: We were seated at a table with candle lights only, can't help but to shine our phone's light to see the food cuz it tasted so good. Chef's good food deserves to be appreciated by your eyes as much as by your tongue and nose...
Really beautiful space. Amazing food. Service was perfection. On the expensive side but worth it.
We have been here many times. The food is great. But this last time two of our party received their order fully half hour before two other guests received anything. Unacceptable. This is a kitchen problem, not the server.
Loreto is an outstanding restaurant in the great location of Frogtown. The menu is fish forward and extremely flavorful. I loved the atmosphere and will be back!
Wonderful, buzzy room, personable waiter, simply sensational food (the tostada with scallops and passion fruit the standout), not terribly expensive--what's not to like?
Love this place but service is hit or miss. Every time I come I'm waving down any server to take our order. But food is always phenomenal!'
Freshest sea food we've had in LA. Very reminiscent of Entremar/Contremar in Mexico City. Very good (but few) pasta dishes too. Interesting and appropriate cocktail list. Professional but, low key service. But $15 parking?!
This place is very stylish and there is a lot of potential here. I can't give them a better rating because we called to ask ahead of time if we are safe sitting outside during the rain. The issue was the table they sat us on was not safe from the rain. Also, there is a 13% surcharge for using your credit card? It's 2025 in LA, who isn't using a credit card? For a pricey restaurant, I was shocked to read that in my bill. Food was okay, nothing out of the ordinary.

Beautiful the food was great and service was also great. Need some more vegetarian options. I think we over ordered. The big plate was big.
This was my 4th time there. Sat outside for the first time - it was really beautiful. I feel like the quality of the food went down. I took a friend there for her 40th birthday - I feel like we had to keep asking the server for suggestions instead of her guiding us. We enjoyed 2 out of the 5 dishes we ordered.
We really enjoyed our dinner for date night, nice ambiance, the food was amazing, and the space is very beautiful!
Yesterday's dinner was a delight. The restaurant had a warm atmosphere, attentive staff, and food that exceeded expectations. Every dish was flavorful and beautifully presented, making the experience memorable. I appreciated the balance of comfort and elegance, leaving me satisfied and eager to return for another visit soon.
Seafood like you have never tried. We shared tasted from each section of the menu . Soft Shell Crab Taco, Yellowtail/Dragonfruit/Ceviche, a Scallop Tostada. Absolutely Loved it ALL. Then ended with the Branzino rice/beans and 3 delightful sauces shared for 4. It was perfect. Also, tried a unique Old Fashioned cocktail made with a delicate smoky Mezcal like I have never tasted.
