This is a honest review the overall establishment looks run down and needs remodeling. The young lady who was my cashier was very nice . However, this was definitely a waste of my money . Chicken taste nothing like Louisiana fried chicken I will stick to Manchester and Normandie . The chicken taste old like it’s been cooked in old grease and even some chicken was cold . The fries taste like they been sitting out for 2 days . This chicken needs to be named another name other than this chain chicken it’s not seasoned just taste like grease. My rolls were hotter than some pieces of chicken and dirty rice was good but taste a little old as well. The rolls, and greens are good I give the chicken a 1 out of 10 compared to what I’m use to i definitely need a cold drink to get this out my system.

I ordered 2-3 pc chicken combos. First off the food is too greasy because upon lifting one combo bag from the plastic bag it broke and one combo is on the floor. Inspection of second bag turns out it's greasy and cheap paper bags are used. I personally am disappointed in food quality coming from black customer to owner. Fries weren't great. Forgot rolls in both combos. Drinks are super tiny for all that extremely unnecessarily greasy chicken. Chicken was soggy because of too much grease. Well first and last time perhaps for this location.

Whoever is frying the chicken needs to wear a hair net!! Found a long hair in the chicken. I wasn’t going to leave a negative review but the number is not listed for me to make a private comment.

Everything was fresh and seasoned well. The kool aid is very nostalgic.

Had to come with an update. My second trip there I decided to try the shrimp and I was soooooo disappointed. The shrimp are tiny and it was cooked too long in my opinion. I should've gotten shrimp from a fish market.

I ordered a chicken meal, collard greens, mac n cheese, dirty rice, red beans and rice and biscoff banana pudding. The stars of the show were the collards and banana pudding. Im definitely going back for more dessert. The Mac n cheese was good for a restaurant. Most places reduce the cheese but this place did not. The chicken was not crispy and perhaps it sat for a while or was fried in old grease. A little disappointed in the texture and flavor. Next time I'll ask for fresh fried chicken.

The greens were bussin! Seasoned to perfection. Red beans had a food taste as well. Tasted cajun spice in them. Will go back if only to get the greens!😊

I will never go here again I’ll stick with my asians.
The chicken had 3” feathers on it the shrimp and fish was so horrible you can’t even doctor it it. they use dirty rice and put red beans on top of it and called it red beans and rice instead of using white rice. They sell collard greens but instead give you turnip that taste like spinach. Stay far away from that horrible place
