A lively Italian spot in DTLA. Validated parking at the back is available. The staff are very friendly and they tried to be as helpful as possible, which was very nice. I enjoy the bone marrow, the salad and the risotto the most. The pastas were delicious too but a tiny too salty for me. The have indoor and outdoor seatings with strip lights, which make the vibe so appealing. Would be great for a date night :)

The pasta was well made with great texture. I enjoyed the meatballs but wish they had been a tad bit larger with a bit more spice. Overall, a very good meal.
2)there is only one restroom, often a few people waiting
3)food is mediocre and prices seem to have gone up? I ordered the cioppino- not sure if they were running out? But it was literally tomatoe soup with few shrimp and bits of fish, I had to order dessert just because I was still hungry
4)parking is expensive (and you’re paying for this expensive parking while waiting for an hour to get seated).

The food is amazing, but be aware: I showed up to pick up my takeout exactly when they said it would be ready. I was told to wait 5 or 10 minutes. It was very cold so I asked if I could wait inside or near one of the heaters on the patio. The answer was no. The place was half empty. I waited 20 minutes, standing, very cold. If they had let me sit down, I would have ordered a glass of wine and an appetizer. While I waited, they sat people right away with no reservation. I live two blocks away and I'm a regular. The food is great, but I was very confused to be treated this way as a customer and a human being.
