One of the best coffee shops I had been to while staying in California. Awesome baristas who are kind and friendly. The coffee is out of this world. It’s so good and every note is extracted perfectly. A recommended stop while you are in Culver City!
This place is so great. And today I realized why I like their coffee so much. So, I don’t do cream or sugar. I just like my coffee/espresso black. And every time I taste theirs, I get so many fruity notes and aromas. Today, I had a double shot espresso of the Razzle Dazzle Blend and I asked the baristas what made it taste so berry tart. Turns out, they co-ferment their beans with wine yeast and fruit, in this case they used peaches. Crazy! Now I get why they are called Mad Lab....
I’m came on a day when the power was out. The sweet barista could have turned me away but still offered to make me a drink on the house, since they couldn’t charge me with the power out.
The barista was so kind and very knowledgeable about all the coffee selections. I walked away with the best drip coffee I’ve ever had and the most unique seasonal matcha.
I will definitely be coming back here soon!!
