Our way of making tacos has a homemade feeling. We use a double corn small tortilla, meat of your choice, cilantro, mixed onions, side grilled onions and bell peppers, and salsa.
Burritos
Made with a 14-inch flour tortilla specifically for burritos our size filled with meat of your choice and mixed with grilled onions, bell peppers, rice, pinto beans, cheese, sour cream, and cilantro mixed onions. Salsa, cucumbers, radishes, and some chips on the side to finish with a crunch.
Deep Fried Quesadilla (Meat)
Shredded lettuce, sour cream, and cheese. Chicharrón, chicken tinga, beef tinga, azada, picadillo, or papá con chorizo.
La Mamada
An original dish created by Mama Chuy that quickly became a classic and a must-try on your first visit. Made with 2 sides of three corn tortillas, melted cheese, grilled onions, and meat of your choice, sandwiched together, and topped with green salsa while slowly cooking. We then sprinkle more cheese and cilantro mixed onions on top.
Deluxe Fries
A large bed of stake fries topped with meat of your choice, loaded with melted white cheese topped with pinto beans, grilled steak, cilantro, mixed onions, tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, and more cheese it's never enough. Pastor, azada, chorizo, chicken, or cecina.
Hot Dog
Our delicious franks are made with turkey and wrapped with smoked bacon (pork), served inside a warm hotdog bun, and topped with ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and grilled onions with bell peppers and grilled jalapeño on.
Sopes
Handmade corn tortillas, fried beans, sour cream, and cheese. Pastor, azada, chorizo, chicken, or cecina.
Tlacoyos
Tlacoyo is a 6-inch corn masa hand-made tortilla filled with refried black beans seasoned with herbs and spices. Topped with red salsa, cheese, cilantro, and mixed onions. Pastor, azada, chorizo, chicken, or cecina.
Tortas
Mayo, melted mozzarella cheese, beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado. Protein of your choice pastor, azada, chicken, or cecina.
Huaraches
Pastor, azada, chorizo, chicken, or cecina.
Fried Bananas (Platanos Fritos)
Nachos Deluxe
A bed of crunchy nacho chips with nacho cheese, topped with meat of your choice, beans, cilantro, onion, tomato, jalapeños, and guacamole salsa.
Churros
Deep Fried Quesadilla (Veggies)
Topped with sour cream, shredded lettuce, and cheese. Papa con chorizo, flor de calabaza, hongos, huitlacoche, or requesón.
Quesadilla (Flour Tortilla)

Amazing food! And incredibly kind staff. My friends and I got stuck waiting outside for a gig and the kind staff of Mama Chuy invited us inside their restaurant to wait and stay warm. They didn't expect anything from us, instead keep us safe. We ended up ordering the nachos, Carne asade tacos, and churros. Everything was delicious! We definitely found our new favorite Taco spot in LA!

This place is AMAZING. I come here every week and the food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic. You can tell everything is made with care and quality ingredients. The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the prices are fantastic for how good the food is. It’s hands-down one of my favorite Mexican spots and I recommend it to everyone. Never disappoints!

We were in town to meet my in-laws and weren't sure where we were (totally lost). So there we were starving and looking for this dive bar. But we found Mama Chuy's instead. They always told me to hit the food trucks for Mexican food in LA. But this place was absolutely out of this world! Can't recommend highly enough!!
