Got to say them shrimp we're off the hook fire lemonade great flavor wanted some
more but I think the fish is overpriced for the amount they give you I've been to other locations and it's it's a whole fish not just half but it had a good flavor

I really like the pescado zarandeado here, but I’m pretty disappointed with my overall experience during my recent visit.

I’ll start off by saying the pescado zarandeado is good here and I always order it every time I visit.

I went here with my family this past weekend and we sat outside underneath the tent. The table we sat at looked like it needed to be wiped-down but it was “clean enough”, so we sat there.

A young man took our order and everything felt very rushed. We sat down and he didn’t give us any menus. Since we didn’t have any menus, I asked if they made aguas preparadas. He said “I don’t know” and just listed off soft drinks. I wish he would have at least asked about what I was referring to.

I ordered for the group since I knew that we were just going to order the zarandeando.

When he brought the salsas, limes & chips, the containers were dirty & had very little salsa and limes in them. I feel like he took them from another table and didn’t bother refilling them or wiping them down.

The hot sauce bottles and salt & pepper shakers were all dirty/crusty, too.

Once our food came, nobody came to refill our drinks or ask if we needed anything. Not even once.

There was a young lady helping serve and she looked like the only worker helping everyone out. We had to get her attention a few times for refills & the check.

The ambience was off. They would play music on a speaker then it would turn off until someone noticed the music was off.

I like this place, just pretty disappointed with their inconsistency with cleanliness & customer service. Please do better.

I'm not from L.A, I live in San Diego. In my social medias this place kept popping up. So far, it was the best sea food in that area that I have tried. The zarandeado was different from what I'm used to, but it wasn't bad at all. The service and the owner are very friendly.

Dietary restrictions: I'm sure if you ask for exactly what you want or don't want, they will gladly help.

Kid-friendliness: We sat outside, and the kids were running around in the parking lot. No one seemed to mind, and when time to leave people where very careful

The zarandeado is the best. Would highly recommend checking this spot out. The micheladas were bomb. Nice little spot,outdoor seating.

Very bad service, the truth is we drove almost 3 hours and from afar they yelled at us where do we like to sit and if we wanted fish why were they going to close the grill and it seemed like they were in a bad mood, nothing to do with the Mexi Papa location
