“Our waiter, Jorge , was rude, intolerable and unacceptable. We have been patrons at Canter's since it started in Boyle Heights. I was a baby. It's a tradition. I've never been so embarrassed and disappointed for taking my family, my Jewish stepfather for the first night of Hanukkah received rolled eyes annoying breaths for asking for a refill of coke, he was insulted under the breath of being bothered by a barely busy waiter. In the last fifty years, the worst waiter I've ever experienced. Instead of introducing himself and asking what we would like to start with, we received “ it's the first night of Hanukkah, what do you want, tap tap tap, rolling eyes, better order now or we will run out” not in a cool east coast deli attitude way, in a grumpy rude, I don't want to be here, hurry up and order way. We're still talking about how horrible Jorge was. He ruined our first night's Hanukkah. We love Canter's and we will never stop dining there. But we never ever want to be waited by Jorge. What a mean, grumpy, rude man.“

“The old Capri is gone. The space was gutted down to the dirt and rebuilt. The only thing left is the front door and the marquis outside. In its place, a completely new restaurant has emerged, along with a new menu and completely new atmosphere and clientele. We had a few cocktails, which were excellent, along with various appetizer sized plates. I'm very pleased to have a decent place in the neighborhood to grab a drink. It's a classier answer to Connor's and a welcome competition to York Blvd.The new Capri Club is going to do well. I will be going back.“

“These days, there are a lot of places that sell cheap Jjajangmyeon and Jjamppong, but this place does it really well.
First of all, it's delicious, the portions are plentiful, and the jjambong looks amazing??? Anyway, the owners seem to be sincere about their food. It was a good meal at a cheap price. Thank you.“

“Last week I ordered the curry goat and I just ordered the brown stew salmon and OH MY GOSH, it was delicious ? ?. If you’re in LA and you know your Jamaican spots then you’ll know the only places to eat are Wi Jammin and Little Kingston but this is definitely my new fav spot as they also offer delivery directly via the website and it was only $5 which is unheard of in LA! Definitely value for money.“

“I just got the 5-day cleanse. First time I ordered and of course they packaged it wrong according to the person that I've been emailing with. One of the soups seal was broken and it leaked out. Very disappointed with the customer service because she says that they can't send me a replacement soup just to $12 refund for the one that was damaged. I don't know how I'm supposed to do the 5-day cleanse next week as planned as I am now short a soup 😔 First and last order if they can't make this right. UPDATE: I guess they did the best that they could to make it right. They found me a similar soup on Amazon and are sending it to me since for some reason they can't send a replacement soup of theirs“

“I have been ordering pasta at Z Pastabar for many years and also from their various locations in LA.The food is always very tasty, consistent and the portion are very generous. Perfect for lunch and dinner.My fav is the chicken pesto with a side order of extra grilled shrimps making a wonderful surf and turf recipe.The smoke salmon pasta Alfredo and the Shrimp Vodka sauce pasta are excellent !“

“Est tacos since 1952, if you’re a millennial you would not understand what mercado tacos are all about, the meats are different as well as the tortillas el taco placero it’s what it’s called! The lady there prepares them real good and she’s really nice, top meats juicy and tender and their sauces the best, I go there every time I visit LA..“

“My son ordered for delivery. Upon arrival he inspected the food. He did this because last time he ordered and the app sent his order to the wrong restaurant, the food was sub-par. If I'm able I'll add a picture. the hamburger he ordered had cheese, but the cheese still had the paper that separated it.“

“I just ordered from Dante Fried Chicken Ghost Kitchen in Koreatown, and wow the chicken was beautifully piping hot and incredibly juicy. You can tell they've brined it just right, the buttermilk soak really shines through. Definitely one of the most tender bites of fried chicken I've had. It lives up to its buzz!“
