Short wait time for 2 on a busy night. Nice wine, great service. Loved the ambiance. Parking was difficult to find on the street.

The food is phenomenal, the staff especially the waiter we had Brady was the best service, friendliest and best recommendations I’ve ever received.

Our food was excellent! We had the Brussels sprouts, Pasta alla Norma, and the Cacio e Pepe. Great service, great food! Just a heads up that it’s very loud inside when it’s crowded. Fun, but not super conducive to conversation without speaking loudly.

Love love love this place. Came in town to visit my sister and it was a first for us both. Food was very fresh, flavorful, and gorgeous. The cocktails were amazing as well. Stephanie was our server and she was delightful.

Met Him at a Bar is one of those places you’re thrilled to stumble into, but then you wonder why you hadn’t been coming here all along. It’s the “brother” restaurant to Met Her at a Bar—right across the street—which has long been one of my favorite brunch spots. As often happens, there was a 45-minute wait over there, so I decided to cross the street and give Met Him a try. To my surprise, there was no wait, and brunch was absolutely delicious. Honestly, I don’t know why the hosts don’t just point the overflow across the street, because this spot is hiding in plain sight. We weren’t the only ones to discover it—lots of other guests seemed to be having the same “wait, this is right here?” realization.

The brunch menu is spot-on, with dishes that feel just as craveable and comforting as its sister restaurant. But Met Him at a Bar really shines at night too. The dinner menu leans into Italian classics, and they do them justice—perfectly cooked pastas, rich sauces, and fresh ingredients that never feel heavy-handed. The atmosphere is lively, the staff is friendly and playful, and they make the whole experience feel easy and fun. Whether you’re ducking in for the “secret brunch” alternative or planning a cozy Italian dinner, this place delivers on both fronts. A true neighborhood gem hiding in plain sight.

Amazing food and staff were so attentive. Shout out to our server Brady who was amazing!! We were asked to move tables so a doggy could sit on the patio (of course no problem, dogs are the best) the table inside was cute and they gave us dessert on the house for moving tables even though no big deal! The food was unreal too 💚

…….I am SHOOK at how incredible this place is. Casey and Brady were so much fun to chat with at the bar!! We had the rigatoni vodka pasta (which literally changed our lives) along with an amazing pizza and a couple of cocktails. Everything was delish, service was lovely and the atmosphere is 10/10. Will be back!!!!

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!! Oh wait I can ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!!

The service here is always top knotch. They make you feel like family and treat you with such kindness! I’m not connected to this place in anyway, shape, or form. I’m just a regular ol LA transplant. I forgot the managers name but he personally came by our table several times just to make sure we were doing good! Also the waitress was soosososo funny and awesome!

Now on to the important part.. the food.. now honestly I’m one of the pickiest eaters of all time and I annoy most of my friends but we came for dinner and all of our pasta dishes were so good we were sharing off each others plates. We happened to come on a Saturday afternoon because we wanted the pasta again but we’re supprised to find out they were only service brunch!! It was scary at first till they brought the food out and it was honestly one of the best brunches I’ve had in LA! The waffles are so freaking good and I’m sad it disappeared so quick off my plate 😂

Now for the cherry on top. The place is beautiful. The abidance is very chill!

Thank you to whoever decided to go above and beyond and make this place so fantastic!

Came here for a late night nite after a few drinks with a friend. The service was quick, the food was divine and the decor was super posh. I will be going back for a date night or a nice Friday night of drinks.
