I live walking distance from here and have eaten here semi-regularly since moving to the area 3 years ago. Sadly I will not be returning or recommending this location. I work part time for Uber and just went in to pick up an order - it wasn't ready yet, so I asked to use the restroom and was aggressively turned away and told I wasn't a customer. I understand that this may be an issue for some restaurants at peak hours, but even if it weren't 2 in the afternoon with literally one other customer in the entire restaurant, the way I was berated in front of that customer was humiliating. This is a terrible look for a business, and simply not the way you speak to another person. I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Whoever is in charge of staffing needs to seriously consider how the business is being represented by the staff on duty today. If you drive for any similar companies, know that you are seen as less than human and not deserving of basic human decency - maybe just cancel that order.

the food here is pretty good i enjoy the lobster fried rice and dumplings but the customer service is so bad, all the tables wobble. The people who work there are on their phone 24/7 and when you ask for extra like drinks or the bill they hate getting off their phone and coming. This is directed at a male there specifically i didnt look at what his name was but hes always there when i go and he just rolls his eyes for anything. Why work if you dont want to do your job..?

This is not good. It was poorly seasoned, the beef tasted gamey, and nothing tasted right. My partner and I took a bite of everything and then threw everything out and ordered a pizza. I hate to waste it but the way this was cooked it was already wasted. I just wish this was better and wasn’t such a waste of money.

EDIT: To respond to the comment below. We ABSOLUTELY ordered from this location. We ordered through Uber Eats.

Been here many times but came back here with family and just had absolutely horrible service. The server was constantly rolling his eyes at the requests made by other patrons. Kitchen staff were constantly talking down on the customers. There was one kitchen staff member (portly white man) who yelled at multiple patrons for grabbing stuff like a bag off their counter and then would roll their eyes at them. I had to ask multiple times for the check, to go boxes, water and all the servers looked so angry to fulfill the request or would shoot each other glares. Horrible service and felt constantly disrespected by staff at lunch shift on 4/26.

WHY DID YOU DROP THE CRISPY SKIN CHICKEN!? This has always been one of our favorite restaurants in LA, easily among the top 5 fried chicken dishes in the city. It was recently replaced with a chicken katsu, and I don’t understand why. Please come to your senses and bring back LA’s finest chicken. Ditto the cumin lamb.

Went for late lunch and the clear broth beef noodle soup did not disappoint! not too spicy and very satisfying with good portions of meat and greens to every bite. There is a great happy hour with 50% off beers and 20% off noodle dishes from 3-6 pm. Will definitely be back soon.

Great find in this gentrified area…

Such a solid noodle spot!! Really tasty noodles that have a nice chew, broth was delicious, and lots of MEAT! Will definitely be going back.

Starter, sides are interesting. Shrimp popcorn and pumpkin cake taste cute. Cold appetiser set looks better than tastes. (Beef is too dry to chew)

Beef noodle: generous portion but mediocre flavour. Definitely not authentic as they should be or as I have expected
Golden wonton: tastes like dumpling as the pastry is too thick
Pork noodle (杂酱): a bit culturally offended that the extra hot version uses “sweet peppers”. This is not Sichuan spicy or Chongqing spicy. (I am only mentioning Chongqing as that is what they were mentioned on the LA times, displayed in store)

So if you are looking for authentic flavours, not this branch for sure.

But I applaud the owner to have established this spot and spread this food to more people! Well done.

This was our first time here and the experience was off the top the server explained the ordering process and when our food arrived it was just what we expected. The bomb!!!! 🤯

Really nice, attentive and helpful staff. The food was good. We got to pick spicy/tingling levels. Whatever you do... Get the mung bean iced tea to help cool you down. It works!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is incredibly authentic, especially if you’re a fan of traditional Chinese Sichuan noodles. The flavors are bold and spicy, just as they should be. The prices are very reasonable, typically ranging from $20 to $40, and the cold dishes and side dishes are equally delicious. If you’re looking for an authentic Sichuan dining experience, I highly recommend this place. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!
