We’re visiting from Chicago for the FIFA World Cup and were looking for a good place to eat near LAX. We found this amazing Ukrainian restaurant just 15 minutes from the airport, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip.

First time trying Ukrainian food. I had the varenyky with potatoes pierogi and the holubtsi with beef.

The pasta in the pierogis tasted very fresh. Not as mushroomy as I hoped, but still very good.

The holubtsi was the stand-out for me. The tomato sauce was slightly sweet. The texture of the rolls was nice.

I had such a great experience at Mom, Please in LA! The Ukrainian food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. Everything tasted homemade and authentic, with such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the whole experience felt very special. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try amazing Ukrainian food in Los Angeles!
