I don't eat Imposisble burger unfortunately so I will not be eating the burgers here BUT... I love the vegan milkshakes and the 50/50 tater tot French fry combo !! Also.. the dipping sauces are so damn good !! The staff was friendly too :) thanks y'all !

There are plenty of vegan places I've been to, but Monty's is really the best when it comes down to vegan burgers. It really tastes like the real deal! And their shakes...OMG their shakes, you gotta have em! It's packed during lunch and dinner rush so I usually come in on the off hours to get a quick meal. The staff is always upbeat and filled with energy which I love! Makes the place that much more fun to be at. It really has that old school small diner feel to it and makes it feel like you're a regular there even if it's your first time.

I'm from San Diego and would dedicate trips to LA if I could just to eat here. I am always ecstatic to eat here because I am allergic to nuts and they are nut-free! The food is AMAZING and the quality is the same at all restaurants. This location had really loud screaming music playing yesterday, which I hadn't experienced at other locations, so we opted to dine outside because it was very overwhelming! Not docking any stars because the food was 10/10, the service was 10/10, and the vibe of the place (decor) was a 10/10!

I'm not vegan but this was amazing!! Not exactly sure what replaced the chicken but it sure tasted like it! The burger comes with a wonderful sauce and cucumbers that blend the flavors wonderfully, highly recommend!

Got a double burger and thought it tasted nice! It's definitely not a real meat patty but it tastes pretty similar. The food was very fresh and hot. I do wish that the bun was warmed up more. There is a restroom towards the back for customers. The service was fast on a Monday afternoon. The restaurant was like half the size of an in and out but there seems to be a lot of seating.

The food is delicious, the fries are yummy and they are perfectly seasoned. I didn't expect the strawberry lemonade to be carbonated but it was still good. The service was so chill, the staff was laidback and played great music.

I have come to this place ever since it's opened. It was always a treat to eat here and though pricey, I was able to get a tasty cheeseburger with an order of fries and an Arnold Palmer. It was indeed a meal. I also liked introducing friends to good vegan food. But I hadn't been here in a while, so is it me or maybe I don't remember clearly how it was. But the portions seems to have gotten smaller! For example, I would get my Arnold Palmer and get a refill and I would be content. However, this last visit. I had to get two refills to feel like I had enough- The container was definitely smaller. Also, again is it me, the fries are smaller as is the portion - in the past I used to even have some to take home because it they were so filling- this time I ate them all, and could've had some more! It's not to mention the cheeseburger itself - it went almost like a slider! Anyway, it is indeed pricier given the size of the servings. It will be a while before I return or bring friends. But the vibe is good and the staff was super friendly and accommodating to special requests - refills easy ice, lettuce wrap around for my friend.

The sad part is I remember Montys being much better a couple years ago. A bit pricey, but I justified it to myself. However this past experience was so consistently poor with every item that I won't be returning. Finneas' Shamrock Shake - too sweet. The topping is cute, but I've had better oatmilk-based shakes before. Definitely could not finish in one sitting because it was too sweet - if you get this at all, get it to share Cheeseburger - pretty simple stuff, so it's disappointing that Monty's messed this up. When I got it, it wasn't even warm. It was the weird in-between warm and cold that makes the burger that much worse. The bread quality really isn't that good, and makes you feel heavy after you eat it. Nothing special about the cheeseburger. Shoestring fries - these came soggy and sad. No crisp to it. Heavily salted, so even though I got the house spread as a dip, I ended up having to eat it plain and very slowly so I wouldn't eat too much salt. Could've been fries from any other haphazard fast food place and I would've believed it. Vegan joints like Monty's really need to reexamine what they're trying to do by recreating non-vegan food, because chances are we know what it's "supposed" to taste like. If you mess it up, people can tell. It's been at least an hour since I've gotten to my food, and I still feel bloated and generally terrible about it. On top of the price tag is just disrespectful stuff. I remembered it being much better just a couple years ago.
Stopped here on our way home from Universal. This place is very cool with nice atmosphere and very laid back. The people who helped were polite and the food came out quickly. There is a very off putting odor that comes off of the burger, it really threw me off, but luckily it didn't taste like it smelled. The animal fries I got were not like what I see in some of the pics, they were a little disappointing, but the burger was pretty. It is a bit overpriced in my opinion, the double cheeseburger & animal fries were just shy of $30 and within 30 minutes, I had the worst stomach ache I've had in a very very long time. If you want to try it, I'd still say go for it, but it isn't something I'd ever go back to.
