The quality of the meat is getting worse and worse. The leaves still taste weird. The leaves of the beef brisket I ordered before also turned rancid the next day.
Q:What’s good here? —>A: definitely? 番茄肥牛mixian, any of the rice dishes(especially the signature sirloin or 猪脚饭), any of the火锅 options, 猪耳朵, QQtofu, osmanthus rice drink(if you like 酒酿flavor), Mung Bean smoothie.I’ve come alone or with friends before and it’s been good everytime! Also fast for takeout/delivery.I know customer service is a mixed bag for ppl— but honestly take them with a grain of salt and be patient with them and everything will be okay :) the prices are what I expected from a Westwood Chinese eatery :O so no surprises. I usually like coming here, I know I can count on their food to fill up my stomach if I haven’t eaten well in a while; especially when I want something nostalgic and hot to eat. It has been a great source of comfort after a days worth full of classes or exams.

For a store next to UCLA, most of its customers should be Chinese students. To be honest, the taste is very good, but the face of the cashier at the door is really ugly, and the service from a young man who looks like a student is pretty good. The most subversive thing is that in this store, I saw the smallest portion of cold seaweed shredded for the first time in my life. It was packed in a take away plastic box. I was thinking silently, is this what students usually order for takeout? Is it time to prepare cold kelp shreds to go with the meal? Frustrated, we decisively returned the product on the spot. We paid for it with cash, but the cashier was unwilling to refund the money. We still haven’t received a refund until now! I paid but didn’t get the kelp shreds yet. An unforgettable dining experience next to UCLA...Parking: Parking at the door $8/car

The Chinese restaurant near UCLA University is very delicious. After eating, I feel full and comfortable in my stomach. It gives me a taste of my hometown in Los Angeles.

This is prob the most unique Chinese restaurant in all of Westwood alone. The dry Mixian or noodle dish is a subspecialty of many types of Chinese cuisine. I ordered the beef stew pot, and it was ok. I see how students of UCLA would come here and call if they crave this cuisine.

I wasn't expecting much and saw no other customers when I arrived, but glad to give this place a try. I enjoyed the Grandma's Dry Mixian dish. I think the noodles have an excellent chewy texture and overall good flavor, with some tiny hard bits (from some kind of spice?). I would order this again. They have a digital menu so you can see how the dishes look. The service was fine and the waiter brought extra bowls when requested.It's a good place to have a quiet meal by yourself or with a group of friends and family.
