Mr. Sate is seriously underrated — a true hidden gem! I’ve ordered takeout twice now, and both times it’s been incredible. The dishes are genuinely spicy (in the best way), and the sambal? Absolute perfection. The Nasi Bungkus is my go-to favorite, and everything on the menu is not only packed with flavor but also super affordable. Highly recommend!
Went early on a Friday. I hadn't had Indonesian in over a decade. This place is really good, reminds me of my friend's home cooking. Service really good, food was terrific.
Highlights are the sates, soto betawi was unreal good, enjoyed the nasi as well. Will definitely be back!

Mr. Sate absolutely deserves 5 stars! The nasi kuning was so delicious and flavorful, and the portion size for everything was just right—not overly big and not too small. The fried noodles were tasty but a bit on the salty side for me personally, though still very satisfying overall. The nasi goreng was also delish and instantly brought back memories of home, which made the meal feel extra special. This spot is a must if you’re craving comforting, authentic-tasting Indonesian...
