Food was very good, first timers here so we asked what was the difference between the different soups and we were told "they are just very different soups" yet a couple of people came in as we were eating and asked the same question, Josh proceeded to go into detail about the different ingredients and textures in the different soups....we felt discriminated.... not nice Josh!!!! There is a place next door, people were waiting 45mim to get a seat, now we know why...

Overpriced and a weird atmosphere. The food was alright , but kind of peeved with the service. Dining with two other people. The other two people finished their meals. But I had a lot left more than 3/4s of the bowl. I asked for a box while the server took the credit card. I didn't think she heard me which I guess was fine. But after coming back she immediately just took my bowl away. I thought oh yay! she must of heard me and was going to box it up. But no she took it to the back. And never came out again. She didn't bus the other empty bowls just my full bowl. I guess she must have thought I said get this bowl out of my face and leave the empty bowls on the table....Just an odd ending.

Their ramen is No.1 in Los Angeles area, my opinion.Because No MSG !!!I don't know why this restaurant is not so busy when I visited. Another ramen place was already busy, though.Anyway I highly recommend this restaurant to eat ramen and gyoza if you are looking for better one.

Warning. 1. There was a roach in the soup, 2. My ramen was full of soapy water. I politely let the staff know and was generous enough to still pay.. but let them know I was not going to finish the meal. This is unacceptable and should be reported to food safety,. Do better please.

I didn’t realize how much I’ve been missing in Little Tokyo. Probably a year or more since I last came to the area. Always glad fun to come back and reminisce. All the good on every corner just makes you salivate and keep eating or come back for more. This was my first time here but the special tonkatsu ramen is going to be hard to pass on next time I visit. The extra serving of noodles might have been a little too glutinous of me. The broth was full of flavor and the noodles were cooked to perfection. The takoyaki and gyoza were delicious as well.

Best ramen I've had in LA. Literally a 9.9/10. If not a full 10/10 cause I've never had anything better. My bf always gets the tonkotsu and I get the vegan ramen. It's impeccable. We will drive 45 minutes just to get this ramen. It's too good. It's such a hidden gem because people are lining up for other places but this is where the real flavor is at. Plus they make their noodles and spicy chili oil fresh daily. Such a perfect ramen spot - I seriously recommend everyone try this. Plus the owner is so sweet. I appreciate her and wish her many successes!

Really fast and really clean. I don't like really hot temperature ramen, but they serve their Ren at a perfect temperature compared to the other places we've been to. Our server was Skyler, and she was super super friendly!!! She stayed up to date with us and explained to us a lot between a couple of orders I wanted.

My Ramen Bar is a good option for those looking for somewhere quick and with no line to eat at. My friend and I visited on a Saturday night and the restaurant was only about half full. We got their tonkotsu and miso ramens and their na'cho fries. The portions were a bit small, so I would definitely recommend ordering an appetizer or side with your ramen. But other than that, everything tasted quite good. The tonkatsu ramen (#1 on the menu) came with a decent serving of chili oil and what I'm guessing was black garlic oil, so it had some interesting flavors going on. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by the na'cho fries which came with seasoned, sauce-y ground meat and shredded mozzarella cheese. It would have been better if the sauce and cheese were distributed more evenly, but it had a nice, cozy, savory flavor to it and we liked how thin the fries were. Definitely didn't taste like chili; it had a familiar flavor that we couldn't quite place.

Friday night, Daikokuya was packed and I didn't feel like waiting, so I came in here. The special tonkatsu Ramen with extra choshu pork added was fantastic.

Waitress was polite. Idk what it was if it was Sunday but there was only one chef so it took a while for the order to come out. I ordered the house special. Nonetheless it was delicious. I would come back here if the chef had a little more help.

This place always hits the spot every time I go here for the convention. The tonkotsu ramen they have is always amazing. The flavor, the noodles, the egg (which was delicious and sweet) is always amazing. The atmosphere in here is always welcoming and the staff, who are friendly, are always ready to serve. Really recommend this place if you are looking for authentic ramen that taste well.
