I can't come go to Little Tokyo without coming out here. Literally my favorite mochi place. Best time to go is just before noon that way you can take your time to pick mochi, otherwise you feel the pressure to speed pick mochi since the lines are so long. Totally worth it!

Everything tastes fresh and delicious, with options like fruit jelly mochi and prepackaged sets. Be prepared for a tight business space and limited parking options, but it's worth the trip. Staff are nice and helpful, though there’s a 15$ credit card minimum (no Amex). With its high-quality, melt-in-your-mouth mochi, Fugetsu-Do Bakery Shop is a gem that's sure to please.
