I stopped in here to pick up some bagels, which I really enjoyed. They're quite big and taste great toasted with copious amounts of cream cheese. They have a good variety of flavors and are pretty tasty. I would say it looks like I wouldn't come here for something that wasn't a bagel. The staff weren't the most inviting, but they gave me my food quickly and validated my parking which was a plus. This place has an original diner feel with a couple seats inside or out.
My wife and I had brunch this past week at this restaurant where I had eaten many times prior to the onset of Covid, having not eaten here for several years. My food was decent ie a Denver omelet with a scattering of ham and my wife left her scrambled eggs and burnt toast. We requested some salsa for the eggs but we're not informed that it was $2 extra and we're surprised at the nearly 4% total check surcharge for health insurance for the staff who worked there. This place is a favorite of mine. It's so consistent and great. Very comfortable with outdoor and indoor seating.. great food. I love the breakfast quesadilla. The bagels are excellent, and the cream cheese comes smeared onto the plate, and plenty of it. I've been coming here for decades and the same faces are there running the place and serving customers.. always smiling and friendly. It's a nice place. Parking can be convenient in the lot there in front, they validate..
