I live in Table View and am always very impressed with the experience I have when dinning at News Cafe. The service is excellent amongst all the waitrons and staff. The food is always what we request and I have never been disappointed .. the early bird breakfast is fantastic and good value for money.. Well done guys... Keep it up...??

Had a good meal here today and the team delivered without any electricity (not their fault). Food was tasty, well priced. One error was quickly rectified.

I came to News Cafe Dining for brunch with an old friend and I must say that the coffee is delicious and their brunch options are really good as well. My friend and I ordered the CROQUE MADAME which had ham, caramelized onions, tomoato, gruyere cheese, egg, and bernaise sauce with a side of KALE SALAD and my friend ordered the FRENCH TOAST. Both dishes were amazing! I cannot wait to come back here again. ^^ ENJOY.

The restaurant has a really nice vibe. Upstairs it is loud, festive and smoky, whilst downstairs it is quieter with more focus on the restaurant rather than nightclub atmosphere. Great food, good value and well made cocktails. It was a regular haunt of mine until two events: I paid by Snapscan and was told the payment didn't go through although it did, and then most recently I was approached by one of the waiters for money. Sadly I shan't be returning.

Once again visited our favorite breakfast joint. Due to mist over the mountain this morning not much of a view but the well presented and prepared breakfast made up for it. Poached Egg with Avo and rye bread was excellent as well as the egg and bacon with hollandaise sauce was delicious and cheap too. Well worth the trip Service excellent as per usual

Please think twice before visiting. Bad service. Waited over an hr for food with no apology or explanation. Waiters and host a really dont care attitude. Definitely not coming back here.

Poor service, had to seat myself, after waiting 30 minutes still no waiter to take my order, got up and did it myself. Not recommending.

Our second visit for a quick brunch today Unfortunately no view due to the weather but the food was excellent as usual with new additions on their menu I tried the Egg and Ave Smash on rye - new on the menu and can truthfully state it was delicious Excellent service as always and all Covid requirements are fully met

great views of Table mountain fabulous breakfast special at a mere ZAR38 excl drinks (toast, chips, two eggs - poached or fried, bacon, fried tomato) and really great waiters and waitresses with a manager that walks around checking everythings ok ... this is the way a restaurant should be run /// even during this covid19 farce these guys are managing the situation and social distancing and sanitizing very well. Job well done guys!!!

I've been at Blouberg for over a month now. This definitely is my favorite spot for breakfast. Good coffee, nice food. I love the eggs Benedict. the service is friendly but a bit slow.
