The sloppy steak is unlike anything I’ve experienced. The waiter slops it with a fresh glass of water right at the table in front of your eyes. Sloppiest steak on the streets. Slop slop slop. As a vegetarian, it’s my favorite sloppy steak in LA.

We visit Norms as a family, late at night, taking advantage of the fact that it is open 24 hours. Opened in 1957, this diner with Googie architecture is part of the historical heritage of Los Angeles and has appeared in several films and TV series, cementing itself as a cultural icon. The menu offers American classics such as pancakes, burgers, steak & eggs and hearty breakfasts. Ideal for an unpretentious meal, with lots of retro style and history flavor.
