The food was tasty, and the staff were kind. The half-sized tempura udon was perfect for me; I wasn't super hungry at the time and don't usually eat a lot anyway, so it filled me up without leaving me feeling stuffed.Came here while waiting for doors to open for a show at the Largo. So so good! Came in on a Wednesday night and was immediately seated. I'm a big fan of creamy udon and Kochi did not disappoint! Really like that there's size options too, for the smaller size and it was the perfect portion for me. Kochi is located on La Cienega so just be prepared to find street parking!

Only found this place in the last year or so. I had no idea what I was missing! Simple, affordable and well executed Udon with a variety of tasty appetizers and a small sushi menu. But what really makes this place special is the staff.
