Mango melon was great
Craving something sweet in Los Angeles so we drove around K-town on a Friday night. Every place we wanted to go to was either packed or parking was non-existent. Then Oakobing popped up on my map close by to where we were circling. AND they had parking! (Valet parking $5 cash only) the place was packed but we were able to get in before another wave of people came in. Placed our order on a tablet then quickly grabbed a seat right after a worker cleaned it. We watched the workers behind the counter place a big block of flavored ice in the machine that shaved it into a tall pile of snow into a cup. The portion is sizeable enough for 2 people to share. The Tiramisu was okay and def needed the coffee liquid to give it some flavor. The Mango Melon, now that was deee-licious! We did an add-on milk drizzle which made it even more creamy. Apparently ours comes in a monstrous size with an actual melon carved out as a bowl. The table next to us ordered one of those. I think there were about 6 of them sharing it.
So glad we found this place!
refreshing Treats!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This place is constantly busy and with good reason. The lines move fast and the tables you have to watch for you to sit. The bingsu is delicious and not too sweet. Definitely share size. I like that you can see them make it too.
The place was super packed! Which I can see why!
Loved their shaved ice cream for sure!
Ordered:
Mango Melon Shaved Ice

Mango single size Shaved Ice
10/10
Also got their Injeolmi Latte
6/10
Wanted to try it to see how it was, but it was not really to my liking!
Overall experience 10/10
Super fast with their orders!
Felt super light, and I'll definitely see myself coming back to try this!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL AND DELICIOUS!!! Enjoyed every bite.
So glad we went while we visited LA.
The mango snowflake ice is a bit greasy and a bit sweet, $16.99 is just right for 3-4 people
Nothing like anko or sul and beans AT ALL. This doesn’t even feel like bingsoo with how dense it is. The ice is super dense and not any flavor through out the bingsoo. The shave Ice compresses and is like dense icy snow
First of all, there is a parking lot in the back. The parking attendant tells you to park there and charges a valet fee of $5. I really don't understand the valet fee in Koreatown. I don't want to go to a mall that has valet. I should just drive about 10 miles and spend money at a restaurant where there are no parking attendants.
This Bingsu (shaved ice) dessert shop in Koreatown, LA, is a must-visit. While small and often crowded, the Bingsu here is exceptional and worth the trip. The fruity flavors are delightful and refreshing—not at all watered down. Plus, the separate sugared milk for adjusting sweetness is a fantastic touch. You can also enhance your experience with additional toppings for a small cost; we opted for mochi, which added a wonderful traditional Korean texture that perfectly complemented the icy dessert.
The ordering process is smooth and efficient, with two kiosks available. Extra outdoor seating out front is available on lovely days to enjoy your Bingsu in the fresh air. Despite having only one staff member on hand, our Bingsu was served quickly, which speaks volumes about their kitchen efficiency.
Restaurantji Recommends
Classic Korean shaved ice cafe. We came here after dinner because it was one of the few dessert places still open. Their sizes are pretty big! Pictured here is the small.
I really like the texture of it...very unique..i ll come back for other flavors for sure
Love love love the creaminess of the fluffy dessert. We split the signature milk cream shaved ice with mochi and red bean but didn’t finish it, portions are super generous!
🫶 This is one of my favorite spots in Ktown. Not overly sweet but a great way to quench your sweet tooth craving.
Highly recommend you try it.
The best!
Prob best bingsoo I had in LA/OC. Must visit!!!
