I come here for my dim sum. The parking lot can get quite busy as this is a popular place for Sunday dim sum. They have a wide selection of options ranging from noodles to dumplings to dessert. The servers can be a bit slow on filling your water but the carry ladies are excellent in selling what they have in their cart without being too pushy.

One of the OG Cantonese-style restaurants in China, this place has been serving simple, traditional banquet-style menus to much satisfaction. This Cantonese parlour draws in a huge crowd, and the buzzing service here gets the job done. The quality draws me back for gatherings and big events and walking in through the shiny glossy staircase make for a grand entrance decades ago. The portion here come in plenty, and when the sauce counts, the sweet and sour pork ribs bring in a flood of deliciousness that seeped into the tender, fatty meat. The braised and mixed dishes come in American dishes like broccoli and beef, but the more authentic dishes hold up to consistency. Best to go or order in large groups, when safe, to enjoy Chinese style feast.

Really good food.. When there is nothing open late at night, this is the place to be.. Good prices also.. I love most of the food they have in the menu.. I love their deep fried squid, won ton soup.. honey glazed walnut shrimp.. I love the tangerine beef the best... MMmmm.. I don't really care about the service and how crowded it is, the food is one of the best there in Chinatown..

Excellent food. Great view of the bay and best service by Curtis who was so knowledgeable about all entrees & dessert selections. Curtis was spot on with all his recommendations and has a great sense of humor!

Love this place, been going there since I was a kid. The fish sticks are amazing. This place has been a staple in Los Angeles for many many years. I highly recommend it.

Easily the best restaurant for completing your Pier 39 experience. I would highly recommend the Dungeness Crab Roll (pictured in background). The Fish & Chips (foreground) is phenomenal, as well.

Great fresh seafood that is cooked delicately! Had the sea food platter and San Francisco clam chowder and both were cooked to perfection!

My husband and I went today at 12:30pm and they were closed. We are really sad because we loved eating here but I am disappointed that they don't update their hours of operation (if they are operating) especially since we don't live nearby.

I'm so glad Ocean Seafood is still open. This is a review of all my previous meals I so enjoyed as I haven't done their to go menu as yet. BUT I am looking forward to returning as soon as indoor dining is back. I have had business lunches here, fed a film crew and on New Years Day, for the last few years, I have held my birthday lunch here. Yesterday so many friends reached out to say how sad it is that we can't go. I heartily agree! I am so sorry that we were not able to be together this year. The dim sum is fresh and wonderful. The waitresses that run the carts are so great - as is everyone who runs the front of house. It's clean, well maintained and my go to Dim Sum place in Chinatown... roll on 2021 when we can all be together enjoying this awesome place.

My favorite location for Seafood. Service is consistently good. This place has a cool design. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Definitely one of my go-to spots for Dim Sum when I'm in the DTLA area. It's good, don't get me wrong! They have the carts with the ladies pushing them around and they usually have all the usual dim sum. The flavors of the dumplings are on point. The prices are decent but not the cheapest. I would say that the worst thing about this spot is that the service sucks. Sometimes it's hard to flag down servers if you want more dumplings, water, etc. Sometimes you literally have to stand up or wave to get anyones attention. As far as parking, there's street parking and there is a lot. The lot is valet parking, cash only!
