We had a lovely birthday brunch. Everyone at the restaurant was kind, smiling and helpful. Those having bottomless mimosas had drinks that were constantly topped off. We left smiling and feeling celebrated.
One of the most flavorful hollandaise sauces I've had in a while. Huevos rancheros also had a welcome twist with black beans added. Lox bagel plate is filled to the brim with fresh goodness. I haven't had a dish here I didn't like! Come before 11 if you want a quiet breakfast. The loud brunch parties start arriving around then :)
What a great experience! Excellent and friendly service. The deep-fried squash blossoms with basil pesto were excellent, as well as the fresh and zingy cucumber salad. However, the roasted duck kimchi rice was the big star; so complex and hugely gratifying; I'm still thinking about it!
