Let me tell you something. I come from the Gulf Coast. So when I saw a place outside of my hotel that served Po-Boys, I was extremely, extremely suspicious. There is no way it could be good. Let me tell you, it's not good. It's great. Exquisite. Tastes like I never left home. If you find yourself in downtown LA for whatever God forsaken reason, and you're from the Gulf Coast, you cannot go wrong here.

Bought a fried oyster po boy with no mayo and to toast the bread. They got my order wrong and still had soda from October 2025. This is my first and last time going here. $25 wasn’t worth it.

Delicious SoHo sub. The meat was high quality, veggies were fresh, and bread was warm. Bread pudding is very good. Yummy to all!!

Every time I’m in downtown LA I stop here and eat! There is a family vibe that I absolutely love! The food is so fresh and the service is so warm and accommodating. Whatever I asked for a fresh cup of coffee even though it’s already fresh, they make me a new cup! When I want to try something they go the extra mile to make me happy.

I have eaten at over 4 Orleans and York and this was the worst. I got the PoBoy SHRIMP and OYSTER. It was tasteless and disgusting. It was soggy, the shrimps and oysters were bland. It felt like they just threw it together and said here. I was so excited to have stumbled on this place, because I LOVE A GOOD POBOY. I was very disappointed. I will just go down the street to the Gumbo Boys. I dont mean to throw you under the bus, but even the homeless guy that I gave the sandwich to said it was gross.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but when I do, I make sure that I convey my deepest feelings regarding my experience at the location to which I am reviewing. With that in mind, please take the time to read the review that I have LITERALLY set aside some of my personal time in order to express my feelings regarding this restaurant and their quality of food & service in a poetic manner that I would normally only reserve for a lover.

I would first like to start by saying how there are no words in the human language that exist that would come remotely close to describing how I was not only incredibly impressed by the quality of the food, but also with the gratitude I felt from the staff for just simply walking through the door! However, I found myself at a crossroads of overwhelming emotional turmoil and incredibly upset by one thing… which was the fact that I had not found this hidden gem of food-induced euphoria sooner!!

I ordered their New York pastrami sandwich, and the meat was so fresh with such a generous helping of their delicious meat and all of the toppings, that I literally started ovulating! 😂

If you haven’t had the once in a lifetime pleasure of eating from here yet, I recommend you get on it, yesterday!

Thank you very much for the delicious food for the amazingly low prices you provide for the high quality, but also for the massive side of endorphins that came completely free! 🥰

The downtown location hospitality is a complete 180 from the location in south central. The DTLA people are rude; not tuned in with the ambience at all. I walked in there yesterday, feeling good. I tried striking a conversation with the cooks but they were talking about one of their personal time experiences and they let me know real quick that my interruption was not appropriated. I got over it as soon as I walked out but it left an impression.

AMAZING!!! We eat here regularly and every single time we ascend with how good it is. These sandwiches are unlike anything I’ve had in LA and stand out from the rest!! The lady at the front is always so kind and helpful. ABSOLUTELY OUR FAVORITE!!!!

The customer service is amazing, but man let me tell you the quality of the food and the taste is superb! I got the chump kills fries. The fried jumbo shrimps were extra crispy and well seasoned. The chili is hearty with the thick pieces of ground meat. They have a really nice outside dining area that just completely the experience eating here. I would highly recommend giving them a try!

The establishment's location is advantageous. The sandwiches are satisfactory. However, there is room for improvement in the side dishes. Overall, the dining experience is acceptable.
