I came by early in the morning with a request and the employee - Elza, Eliza? - was so nice about it that I returned in the afternoon to try the fish tacos. Realllyyy good fish taco, the salsa was amazing, the cabbage was crisp. Would definitely come back to try the shrimp tacos. Give Elsa a raise, she is nice and gives great service.
In regards to the star rating I gave, I gave four stars because the prices for other items were really high. The tacos were well priced, but I was interested in trying the veggie burger in the future and saw that they were charging $18 and some change. I know it’s DTLA but those are some sit down and have a waiter come to you prices. I’ll still consider coming by for a taco, but I’ll skip on anything larger.

I love the pastrami and the Reuben here. I don't know about the other sandwiches here but based on the 2 that I love I would think the others are delicious as well.

My absolute "GO TO" spot in L.A. It's (somewhat of) a New York bodega-styled atmosphere mixed with that delicious Louisiana seasoning and a healthy dose of GREAT customer service! You will not be disappointed!!

Hi All. Still the best Poy Boy and sandwich place in the country. I am from Canada and used come by for sandwiches when in LA. By sure luck booked a hotel nearby only to figure out I was staying next to Po Boys LA. A special shout out to Pena. Still the best.

Love this neighborhood spot for delicious sandwiches both po’ boys and heros - although we usually get the same thing every time: Big Mo’s Favorite and a catfish po’ boy. The “hot sauce” (not that hot) is a delicious add to the flavor of the sandwiches.
Would love to see them bring back the Zapp’s chips though!
Wheelchair accessibility: They are located on street level, have automatic sliding doors and low tables inside (counter space) and outside. Don’t have a restroom inside the restaurant so unknown how accessible the rest room is.

Oh my God, please give me 10 stars. I have never fallen in love with the intercity deli so fast before in my life the marble counters you can sit out and enjoy TV but you absolutely have to try everything they have.!!!
I started with the sandwich has pastrami and has turkey and Romain lettuce and Russian dressing. I threw some good old-fashioned American mustard on top because it was delicious.
Wash it down with some water and threw jalapeño chips on the side, delicious assortment of cookies and all the meats and everything they have on display so you know what you’re eating.
The outdoor seating is amazing all the services you can think of the sandwiches so beautiful. I wish that it was 10 feet long. !

This place used to be good. Not anymore. First they messed up my order providing grilled shrimp instead of fried shrimp and they're much smaller. Second, I requested no tomatoes as they will send me to the hospital, yet the sandwich had tomatoes. Third, the bread was woefully nasty. Quality has diminished significantly during the past year. Don't bother.... order from Gumbo Boys instead!

Pretty good shrimp po boy for being in Los Angeles. Be sure to get the hot sauce, it’s much better with it.
