Tucked away in downtown LA is this little place. Some courses are very good. We felt service was a bit rigid. And too many dishes where just too sweet(ened) wine pairing is interesting. Menu needed an optional cheese course.
A very creative menu and have never had dishes similar to what I was served. It would have been nice to have the menu of the items that were served to us. the server explained them but the complexity and number makes it impossible to remember
Unfortunately, there are no 4,5 stars. Food, service, presentation are good, but not excellent. So, couldn't check 5 stars as I did with Meteora or the Restaurant at Auberge du Soleil, which undoubtedly deserve 5.
