Paris Bakery is a very small shop with a limited selection. They only have about two pastry cases, so don’t expect a huge variety. That said, the pastries we tried (see photos) were very good and definitely worth getting
The employees were also a bright spot. Everyone we interacted with was polite, considerate, and helpful, which made the experience feel welcoming even with the small space and limited selection.
We also ordered iced lattes. I requested vanilla syrup and sweetener, but they didn’t have any kind of syrup or standard sweetener available (like the simple syrup you’d usually find at most coffee places). I had to add my own. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was surprising for a place that sells sweet coffee drinks.
The biggest downside is the parking situation. The only entrance to the lot is on Santa Monica Blvd. The entrance on the side street is exit-only, so you can’t enter from there.
Even stranger, the parking lot is tiny but has around a dozen spots blocked off with white cones, supposedly reserved for valet parking.
It feels unnecessary for such a small lot, and it creates a situation where if the lot fills up, you may be forced into paying valet.
When we visited, the cones and valet umbrella stand were set up, but there was no valet attendant, which made the setup feel even more confusing.

Ordered TooGoodToGo for the first time here. I was very disappointed. I received 4 danishes that looked tired and tasted worse. I’ve bought treats from Paris Pastry before and they were good, but I won’t return again.

I got the pound cake, chocolate croissant, and apple-custard tart pastry. They were all extremely delicious and very aesthetic. The pound cake was light, buttery, with an airy crumb while the chocolate croissant and apple tart-pastry were light and airy.
