I’ve passed by this place so many times and finally decided to try it. I’m glad I did. I love Italian food so I was interested to see what a Japanese twist tastes like. To start off, I walked here but I can tell that parking is kind of tough. When you get there, you check in on a self- service kiosk. I was in a party of two so the wait time on a Saturday night around 7 was about 10 minutes. We sat at the bar top with an unobstructed view of the kitchen which was really nice. The wait staff are all very friendly and the speed of service is fast. But the quality of the food is amazing! The burrata itself is 10/10. I tried a red sauce and cream sauce pasta and would definitely recommend the cream sauce more. Would highly recommend.

best pasta I’ve had in a hot minute. this is an italian-japanese fusion restaurant that focuses more on traditional Italian pasta but incorporating some ingredients and flavors of Japanese cuisine into their offerings. every entree comes with a small salad + bread as starter. great value for lunch. this place and marugame monzo are my two go-to restaurants in little tokyo.

5/28/25: Had the Uni Pasta. Very good, different.
Pasta e Pasta by Allegro is a hidden gem for Japanese-style pasta lovers! The pastas are rich, flavorful, and beautifully plated — perfect for a cozy date night. The space is on the smaller side, but it adds to the intimate, relaxed vibe. The staff were super kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. Be prepared for a wait — the line can be long, but totally worth it once you’re seated. A must-visit if you’re craving something unique and comforting!

Enjoyed a yummy dinner for my first visit. I ordered the popular uni cream pasta. I really like fusion of flavors and the Japanese and Italian combo intrigued me. The pasta was perfectly al dente and chewy. The cream sauce was rich and flavorful. The uni flavor wasn't strong and was very subtle. I wanna try their other famous dishes like the mentai next time around. Service was prompt and friendly.

Good pasta but terrible 😞 service. Cutlery removed before we were even done, we had to ask for bread 3 times before we got it. And when they took the cutlery, they brought the bill while my friend has asked the other waiter to bring him another fork.
Will never be been, good food isn’t compensating for the crappy service

Just too crowded for my taste. The tables were small and tight. The service was a little slow but it was pretty busy. The food was great tho.

This restaurant served me some of the best food I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s delicious!! The staff was also one of the kindest I’ve ever experienced. The atmosphere is outstanding as well. The dim lights really adds to the cozy atmosphere.

Dined in with friends on 10/11/2024 to celebrate a special occasion. We were badly treated by a rude asian server. Poor customer service. No matter how busy the restaurant is, customers should not be forced to leave as soon as they have finished their meals. The food is great though but we will never go back!

This spot is good for their pasta I must admit, unfortunately this time with had a bad experience with this waitress since she forced us to tip her when not even once she came to our table to see what we needed, the other waitress that brought our food came more than 2 times. I would’ve tipped them instead of her, and on top of that she asked for more for tip which was actually rude and not way to treat your customers. Wish I got her name but she’s was Asian, short and blonde short highlights hair.
I wish the boss was there so I can complain about the way she treated cause basically she ruined our experience and I’m not even sure to even come back if she’s still there.
If you eat here don’t tip her, tip other waitresses.
