Tried the oldest pizza joint in Los Angeles and it was very good. Was it the best for me not yet still hasn't beat Lidos in Van Nuys. Over all great service

Seriously the best pizza i've ever had, have no clue how it has a pretty low rating on Google, you need to try it for yourself.

I asked for my pizza to be heated. The server looked confused. Nevertheless, they popped my slice in the oven then left it out long enough for it to get fully cold. Serves me right I guess 🤣

The staff is very friendly, but the pizza reminded me of the kind I would get during elementary lunch time and too overpriced for the quality.

Terrible pizza, the worst lasagna I had in my life... it was still cold in the inside, and took it out of the fridge and prob. just microwaved it.. Also charged extra when you use your credit card.. (they also don't tell you).. service was not friendly... don't waste your money, especially if you are visiting.

Food is o.k. Not exactly New York. Food preparation can vary sometimes. Sometimes not enough sauce on the pizza. Spaghetti sauce can be stingy.
Young girl there has nasty take it or leave it attitude. Choose mature order taker.

I can’t believe that this place that has been an institution in my life for almost 55 years has become a crap hole. The pizza is more money now per slice and half the size of what it used to be. I will never be back and it sucks because it’s my favorite pizza and all of Los Angeles and now I have to say it’s my least favorite because of practices succumb to. Really sucks that I get half a slice for $7.14 when I used to get those grateful slice for six dollars and something cents and that made it worthwhile to actually park and come all the way in here for one slice of pizza, which I’ll never do again after 55 years makes them look stupid

I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a pineapple ham pizza, but received a cheese pizza instead, despite paying extra. The staff was careless and didn’t bother to check my order properly. I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning.

I ordered a meatball sandwich and they used "one" single small- size meatball for the entire sandwich. Seriously? So, I cancelled my order and bought 2 meatballs for $4 a piece, went to Ralph's, bought a roll, and went home and made a "proper" meatball sandwich. I"ll never go back to Patsy D'Amore's. I get it, their rent is high at the Farmer's Market. So, charge a dollar more and make a real sandwich. One little meatball for a whole sandwich? Pla-leeze.

I ordered a calzone with 3 toppings after looking up their prices online. I was expecting the calzone to be 17.50 before tax, it ended up being over 20 and then tax ended up at $26 and change... I called and they didnt want to help me out just said the price changed but didnt want to honor what I was under the impression i was going to pay. they lost a customer because of false advertisement and failure to accommodate a price adjustment. i work at the grove and I will tell my coworkers about this. dont get duped.
