The broth of the beef noodle soup was good! I liked that it was citrusy
The food is excellent and also the service. Good place to eat, if your staying in the doubletree hotel.

Food and atmosphere was amazing!
By far the best Mapo Tofu I’ve had in my life. Fairly priced for the portion size.
Vegetarian options: Limited, but I was very satisfied by the Mapo tofu noodle.

Just go for their spicy pork wontons and their ube flavored lager beer. They have lots of specials going on during the week. I would definitely recommend this place. Street parking is available.

Best meal, service, and experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time!! Would give more than five stars if I could. The dumplings, bbq baos, ginger scallion noodles — omg, everything we got was delicious. But even better than the amazing food was the service. The staff is awesome (especially the guy with the long hair/ pony tail - we forgot to get his name, but he was AWESOME! He was super personable and knowledgeable about Japanese whiskey!) Definitely recommend anyone in LA!

Was very happy to find this place- I had the beef black pepper noodles (not the soup version) and it was one of the best versions of this dish I’ve ever had. Sizzling hot and they don’t hold back on the spice. The sauce and consistency were great. Spring rolls were average. Very friendly service and decent prices- think I paid $24 plus tip for my meal. And cool decor/furniture too. Will surely be returning

The drinks were meh and the food is dry. It’s a convenient location but I wouldn’t go back again. The owner Andrew was really rude

We have to come back! We were lured in by their sign advertising Wonton soup. Being half-Taiwanese, I have an unexplainable craving for Wonton soup. We went around dinner time and they were out of wontons, so we’ll have to come back earlier. I opted for their Mapo Tofu with noodles and was very satisfied. The ambiance of this place is incredible. Warm red tones and paper lanterns adorn the space, elevating the room and offering a fantastic dining atmosphere. They have a full bar. If I didn’t have a toddler on me I would have been at the bar trying out their Baiju cocktails. I love how they have a rotating selection of craft beers and appetizer specials! We sat outside so our toddler can run around, and I truly appreciate how accommodating the employees were in turning on the heat and making sure we were comfortable.

I was a tourist in LA with no phone or car and I stumbled into this place because it was in walking distance of my hotel. What an unbelievably lucky chance for me. The food here is delicious, and the drinks are awesome, but the people are truly what made me come back over the duration of my trip. Hiro and Nara (I hope I didn't butcher the names) and the ska-fan whose name I did not get - you're all superstars. This is 100% a place to visit if you're looking to have an absolutely awesome time.
