The supply on hand planning is not great here. More than once that I've come here there wasn't flavored soju. Cabbage salad was not available because there was no cabbage. The cheese tteokbokki and original fried chicken are good. Server was responsive when we called for the bill at the end of the meal. No wait when we entered.
Promising, but not quite there. Pelicana was my childhood favorite—I grew up in Korea, and its signature sauce and flavor are unforgettable. This place comes close in taste, but falls short in two key areas. First, the chicken with signature sauce doesn't have nearly enough sauce—it feels like they were trying to skimp on it. Second, the chicken itself is too salty, especially for the sauced version. The original fried chicken is decent, though.
Went in this evening to pick up an order and was greeted with the friendliest staffs. Atmosphere was nice and it just felt like home. I was even reminded if I had any parking tickets to validate, in which I did and would've totally forgot if the staffs haven't reminded me. Great service, great customer service.
