It's a shame that it's not around the south bay area because I will be making my trip to go and get me some penguins yogurt tomorrow I usually go to Penguins in Redondo Beach off of Nob Hill and Pacific Coast Highway. I love the place they also had one by the old town mall off 190th in Hawthorne. I love that place too but I like the one off of Pacific Coast Highway and Nob Hill Ave. and when it's close, I've really fell bad because now I don't have a place to do my little special treats and just chill out

5 yogurt machines have been out of order for almost a year. Waited a while in front with the store unattended... employee in the back. Staff says new owners won't upkeep this location. Given the Big Chill is located across the street... unfortunate they have such a small selection.

Good yogurt however they’re moving in 30’s you can only pay with cash. Tilling are super expensive and way too much when added. Service is slow normally.

Penguins used to be my favorite yogurt place for many reasons, the yogurt was good, they had a large selection of low-carb options, the prices were decent, and the service was excellent. Since the new owner took over, almost half of the machines are broken and he only changes the flavors once a week. The only reason I continue to patronize this establishment and gave them more than two stars is Mary. Mary’s smile, personality, and genuine sweetness are most likely the only reason they have not gone out of business yet,m but I am not sure how long they will last if the owner doesn’t start caring about his business soon.

If you haven't tried their Frozen Yogurt, you're missing out. Everything on their menu is delicious and it's a wonderful place for the whole family.

Penguin's brings back nostalgic memories of the frozen yogurt of my childhood. I haven't been here in years and it looks exactly as I remember it. You can take your yogurt to-go but there are also plenty of tables and chairs in shop. The place looked very clean. Customer service was wonderful. There was a small line when I came in but it moved fast. They give free samples of the yogurt before you buy. There was only one non-dairy flavor which is what I wanted. The flavor was mango. Wish they had more non-dairy flavors to choose from as it's a popular request nowadays. However, mango was refreshing.A regular small scoop is $6. Some reviewers were saying that was expensive. However, that's the going rate for a small cup of ice cream nowadays so I think that's totally fair (as compared with Salt & Straw and Jeni's). I purchased the kid's size cup ($5) and the amount was generous. I split it with someone and we were both satisfied. I did not get toppings on my yogurt. However, there were a great many toppings to choose from for an extra cost ($2.75). They had every imaginable topping from sprinkles to fresh fruit. Penguins is located in a mini-mall with ample parking. They take both cash and card.

The yogurt fresh fruit toppings was great. The portion was nice sized . Service was fast. The only negatives are at $10 the value is below average and there is a small seating area and not much parking .

Penguins sent me a 15% off code. I went to penguins and the person working couldn’t figure out how to use the code

Great place, always clean and friendly staff. Easier parking than other nearby yogurt shops. They take cards (not just cash) and they have much more convenient operating hours than other nearby yogurt shops.
