A long time friend took me to this restaurant. It was the first time I ever had Vietnamese food. I had the Pho Chicken lunch special. The chicken breast was very good. What I liked about it is that you could add sliced jalapeno and lime slices for taste and add bean sprouts for substance. The mixture into the hearty broth made for a very tasty lunch. The restaurant was mostly simple in its design except for the fancier bar area and the decorated windows. I definitely wouldn't mind coming back to this restaurant.

I wish the food was a bit fresher, maybe it's because we went towards the end of the night. Flavor was ok.

This was the worst pho I’ve ever had!!! It was extremely salty.

This place reinforces Little Tokyo as the most overrated food destination in Los Angeles for me. The overpriced rice plate was just barely edible. The chicken was dry and the tiny little shrimps were over sauced. Although viet coffee was ok, I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

Great banh mi, Pho but also iced coffee with banana and the passion fruit / ibiscus drink!

At Vui Vu, the heart of their pho lies in their delicious broth. While many establishments in town falter with their attempts at authentic pho broth, Vui Vu stands out with its rich, flavorful rendition that truly anchors the entire dining experience. Every spoonful reveals a depth of flavor that speaks to their dedication and expertise. The accompanying side ingredients, fresh and vibrant, serve as perfect complements, harmonizing with the broth to create a symphony of taste.Their spring rolls are a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality. Each roll boasts a satisfying crunch, hinting at the freshness of the ingredients within. But it's the peanut sauce, with its balanced flavors and creamy texture, that elevates the rolls from good to exceptional. It's the kind of dish that lingers in your memory, urging you to return for just one more bite.Beyond the culinary delights, Vui Vu also excels in customer experience. My order, delivered seamlessly by GrubHub, arrived punctually and in good condition. A special nod to their eco-friendly packaging, which not only underscores their commitment to sustainability but also ensures that the food reaches you without any unfortunate leaks or mishaps. In an age where attention to detail can set a restaurant apart, Vui Vu demonstrates excellence at every turn, making it a must-visit for pho enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Been here a few times and each time was great. The place can get a bit busy and there are only a few folks behind the counter and serving but we’ve always gotten seated and served quickly! Highly recommend the beef (combo, brisket, or any kind of beef) pho - the broth is excellent. Also always happy with their banh mi and sesame balls. Try the banana coffee, the two flavors work well together surprisingly!

Affordable pho in LA that's also affordable!! Food was BOMB. My vegan fiancé said his vegan pho was the best he ever had! The sesame balls were also warm, fresh, and perfectly chewy. The inside is super cute too! The location wasn't too difficult to find, but definitely beware of parking. We got lucky and got a spot on the street.

The restaurant was so cute on the inside. They have a big menu, 5 stars for their AMAZING Vietnamese coffee. I will be back to try more of their food.

Maybe we were not very hungry, but the food here is not as I remembered it. The pho really lacked flavor and body it used to. Even more disappointing was the service. We all ordered pho, it wasn't very busy but our pho arrived luke warm. I didn't want to ask for it to be reheated, but luke warm pho really leaves a lot to be desired. The coffee tasted watered down and not worth the price.

What a delightful find! This Vietnamese restaurant is a hidden oasis of flavors and culture. The ambiance transported me to Saigon with its charming lanterns and cozy seating. The service was top-notch – our server guided us through the menu with patience and expertise. And the food, oh my! The lemongrass chicken was a burst of fragrant spices, and the banh mi was a heavenly blend of textures. A must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic Vietnamese experience.

Stumbled upon this gem after Sunday Funday. We all had the brisket pho and it was very tasty! Broth was on point! The service was friendly, quick, and attentive. I will definitely be coming here again.
