Food itself was ok but the price was astromical. We paid 80+ for 2 people. Ridiculous prices!
Edit: After your reply I see that I was over charged. I did not get insanely large amounts of food. I could also afford the food. I was charged way more than 16 per pound. So that's why my bill was high.

Service was below average. Nothing special. The older lady who was the cashier had no expression on her face. Won't return, nothing special. Food was good but served in plastic and soup not hot enough to cook veggies I got. Disappointed.

Good food and good service. I think level 2 spicy was a bit spicy for me.

I don't give it 5 stars because it is too expensive.

says open at 11am on google business page, but was not open when i got there at 11:10
It is honestly pretty avg quality for Malatang hotpot as in pretty solid. But, the price alone being more than most comparable places makes it a "it's fine" in my book (my friends and is bowl alone easily ended up being $30-39 each). However their pork was the crispiest juiciest thing I've tasted in a while and although it was also super expensive, it made the experience. I would literally come back for the pork side alone. Valet parking $3 which sucks. All in all, it sits squarely in the it's fine tier but the pork by itself is A+

This restaurant serves delicious food with a scoop-and-weigh system. They offer beef and lamb, priced at $3.39 per pound. You can choose between dry stir-fried or soupy Malatang, with various spice levels available. If you're used to spicy food, I suggest opting for the highest spice level since the spiciness is moderate by American standards. The taste is flavorful and well-balanced, with the dry stir-fried option having a slight sweetness.

Great food, clean tables, and fast service. We had mala xiangguo and guobarou, and both were very good. I'll try their soup next time.
