Pixiu has been my favourite mala hongtang place ever since I discovered it. As a vegetarian I struggle to find good food places in Korea-town and this place did not disappoint. I’ve been a regular here now, the owner is so kind. For someone who has a spicy Indian palette like me, I would recommend to make your own malatang and get the soup with the spice level 2. I love dry hotpot! This place they price the meat per portion separately from the ingredients that you customize and sell by weight. But I do have to say the brisket quality seems slightly better than other similar spots in LA?
Very thoughtfully put together restaurant. Seems especially family friendly vibe. Parking lot small but most times I’ve been they have a valet for $3 (cash or Zelle).
