The hot honey pizza was phenomenal. Solid portions for a good price. Plus! The staff were super nice and fun to talk with while we waited for our pizza. 100% will be going back and they’re opening a slice shop at echo park that I am keen on trying because I had a good experience.

I'm a New Yorker so I'm a harsh critic of pizza but Pizza Cafe LA is absolutely delicious! They do a few different types of pies and they are always really good. Definitely check them out and order some pizza form here if you haven't yet, it might become your new spot!

Got the Detroit style pepperoni pizza with my boyfriend for the nostalgia. The pepperoni tasted like it came out of a Lunchable, the cheese, which didn’t even taste like mozzarella, was a glue-like texture and not even completely melted in the middle. If we weren’t so hungry we wouldn’t have even had the 1/3rd of the pizza we were able to eat.
But at least the corner pieces were crisp on the edges.
