We’re Chi Spacca clients and decided to give the pizzeria a try. While it’s true that prices are lower than at Chi Spacca, the quality just doesn’t hold up. The food is fresh, but overall lacks flavor and character. The pizza is decent but the ingredients don’t really shine, and the pasta dishes feel uninspired—more like something you’d throw together at home, heavy on cheese and light on creativity. There was a lot of noise. Desserts and alcohol are extremely overpriced....
Pizza was way worse than what I’ve had in the past. Had a margherita, burrata, and pepperoni pizza. Crust was over floured and not very crispy. Cheese at the top had barely melted. Sauce was a little too sweet for my liking. Too much basil on the margherita and it seemed like it was thrown on top after the pizza had cooled down quite a bit so it wasn’t wilted or anything like I would normally expect. Hostess suggested we have a drink which I was lead to understand that she was hosting us a drink
Before we left the bar to go to our table I asked if I should pay the bar bill and the hostess said no!
