I wish I looked at the reviews here before dining. Waiter Mychal was very welcoming with getting us seats and serving food (Tuesday 10th Dec). It wasn't until we were finished that I felt the service to our table slowed down.
We had our plates stacked up ready to be collected but about 10mins later, it felt like our table was forgotten about, so I approached the bar to get the bill. The waiter was adamant that I hand him my card. I said "I'll put it in myself" as I felt wery about giving a stranger my card. He proceeded to presssure me about just giving it to him so I regrettably did so.
After payment went through he gave me a receipt to sign. I got confused as to why I had to sign and my friend that I was dining with, noticed the 18.5% gratitude Mychal put in for himself. Sure the payment had gone through at this point, and Mychal was no longer at the bar. Very sly move as I was not asked or informed about this ridiculous gratitude prior to him tapping my card at the machine behind the bar. It was a higher charge than the tax itself!!
Dishonest billing service and sly staff. If you're dining here I'd highly recommend not to bother, considering I see other reviews here of a similar nature. The owner usually replies but considering this is still an ongoing occurrence, I don't feel as though management actually care to improve this issue with their staff. Just grab the money and onto the next.
The food itself was could've been much better for $20 per plate (avocado and toast). My experience, airport food is nearly always pricey so I was okay with that expense as we were hungry and had a long day of travel ahead of us. What lets this place down is the generous tips the waiters seem to help themselves to.
I rarely leave reveiws but this place is worth reviewing. I wonder how many other people got caught with this and didn't even realise it.
Next time I'm travelling through LAX, I'll be avoiding this spot. And informing my colleagues of the same.

The bartender (Johnas/John) was very personalable, heard what I had ordered and not pushy. That's hard to find. Talked with hubs about our pullovers as it has hubs work logo. We had the chicken tenders with dijon as a nummie (sorry, my bad on not taking a pic of that). All around great experience. Cheer!

Apart from the exorbitant price due to being in the airport, the dishes were good and quite plentiful

A great way to kill your phone at the airport with different options of burgers or pizzas.

The food was okay, but they added a 18.5% tip on the bill and the waiter cut it off at the part where it says that you can take it off, I put the money on the table and another waiter comes to me and hands me another check where it says that you dont have to pay for the tip and i thought it wasnt nice so I gave them a 10% instead and when they came back to take the money they said I had to add more money and they made a big deal out of it. This place can do better

Was told we would need to order food in order to sit in - fair enough. Asked for an all-day breakfast item and was told there are no breakfast meals available. Asked for almond milk coffee - no almond milk, so asked for soy or oat. None of those available. Asked for a beer, but no beer available either. We were then told we had to leave since we were not ordering anything. What a joke. Also the table and chairs were covered in grease - we had to wipe them down ourselves before sitting down. Also noted other reviews here upset at the forced tipping - lucky we never got that far.

I was charged 18.50% gratuity - I don't know why, not really a good experience and they don't accept apple pay.

I was seated and waited 25 mins no one came to take my order. I looked over and saw 3 staff standing behind the bar chatting. I stood up and walked to the bar then the staff approached me to take my order. I ordered the buffalo wings and steamed white rice. The buffalo wings were so salt that I could eat it. Asked the waitress why the buffalo wings were too salty and her respond was it is very salty. I asked why didn't you tell me when I asked you if the buffalo wings were good? She shrug her shoulders and walked away. Considering the food is very expensive, I only ate 2 buffalo wings and couldn't eat anymore because it was tooooo SALTY! IM DISAPPOINTED!

Today I went to this restaurant and I thought the service was ridiculous, since I went with my family to have coffee to say goodbye to my mother and the waiter demanded that I eat in order to be able to stay there. Which I find appalling since we were eating there anyway. I really would never go back.

For reasons, I had to arrive at the international terminal 12 whole hours before my flight even left. Instead of venturing out with my truly gargantuan suitcase, carry-on, and messenger bag I decided to wait it out at the terminal. Honestly thank god for this place. The food was a little pricy but that's just par for the course on airport food. The burger was good enough to justify the markup.
My first stop was for lunch and I sat at the bar because it was pretty empty and I figured I could just rest for awhile away from all the noise. The guy at the bar, Mychal, was great. I saw a yelp review calling him out for being rude but that's not what I got from him. He was a really chill guy. He introduced himself as I sat down and was very attentive. Maybe it's because it wasn't during a rush. Anyway, shout out to him. Thanks for the burger and diet Pepsi.
Later that day I went back for dinner. The other restaurants in the terminal don't have dedicated seating (as far as I could tell) so that's what sold me on stopping by again. It was definitely busier than before so service was slower but the waitress (I forgot her name but I think it started with an A and she had some tattoos on her arm) was polite and repeatedly apologized for any delays. I got the same bbq bacon cheeseburger and drink as before. Still really good.
Both times I didn't feel like I was being rushed to leave and it was really nice to have some amount of personal space in an otherwise crowded terminal.
When you consider the factors outside of their control (namely being in an airport - aka hell on earth) I thought this place was fantastic.
