This is a staple for me when I stay at UCLA. But an absolute pleasure even if you are not. Food is fresh and the drinks are amazing. Staff is accommodating and I like the atmosphere. The bar and outside are are top notch.

Outdoor heaters were not available because they were being used at another venue in the hotel. Seriously I've been to this restaurant several times and the food was really off of its game. Hot food that should've been served warm. All the courses were all piled up together... What a mess !!I really appreciate it that the Maitre De toward the end of the meal explained why we could not have heaters outside if I had known that I would've made a different choice of restaurants.

Fantastic on-campus restaurant. It is disappointed that there're so many empty seats while the restaurant told me we cannot bring more guests. The reservation system needs to be improved!

Plateia is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space. For lunch I ordered the Avocado Chicken Sandwich, the chicken was not seasoned and tasted charred but the Reggiano fries were good. To drink I had the lavender house made soda was good and refreshing. My co-worker ordered Sweet Tea, however the waiter didn't communicate they didn't have that so she had to create sweet tea which was fine but wish the waiter knew. Also we ended up having a larger party than what was initially seated and they told us that they don't move tables however as we're finishing up our meal I noticed tables being moved for a 6 person party and I was a bit confused. For Dinner I had a well-done The Burger and that was good !

Great service! The ambiance was beautiful, well lit and you're not sitting on top of each other outside so it was nice to just relax and enjoy the environment. Food was so fresh and delicious. I had the Greek salad about 4 times and I was NEVER disappointed! Always fresh and always delicious, if I ever get the opportunity to visit again! I will be there and order a Greek salad. I also had their pasta, pizza and a few other items and everything was fresh and delicious.

Plateia is ALWAYS outstanding. From Stephanie's greeting up front to Jordan's care and concern for our needs we were well cared for. Besides that, the food and bar can't be out done! Of all the restaurants on the Westside, this is the one I keep returning to!

Been here a few times since my boyfriend goes to UCLA and the food is pretty good. The outdoor patio is really nice at dinner so that's a plus. The dinner we had was pretty good, but we came for brunch a few weeks ago and were disappointed with the service. We came in with a service dog and the hostesses seemed to not be happy about that. They were annoyed that we had one and then were discussing it in Spanish in front of us. They then seated us at the table directly beside the door when the restaurant was completely empty. It was also a cold and rainy day so every time someone opened the door, a cold breeze would come in. Really disappointing to have them treat us this way just because we have a service dog. Do better

Aiden was a FABULOUS waiter. He consistently kept a check on how we were doing and when to timely bring in and take away the meals. Since we were vegetarian he accosted everything according to our preferences and recommended options for us. He was very sweet and helpful and he didn’t even take tips due to the restaurant policy. Amazing experience with him and the place. Food was delicious and quantity was large too. Salad was SO YUMMY.

We were staying at the Luskin so we tried this place and it was excellent. We ate there for two breakfasts and two dinners. All four meals were yummy. Wait staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I stopped in to Plateia for a drink after work. I asked the bartender what red wines he had by the glass. He did not say a word, just handed me a menu. I ordered and he served my glass of wine. He handed me a card reader and the screen was totally blank. I told the bartender the screen was blank, but he just stood there and ignored me. He did give me a receipt after the fact, but I am very annoyed by the fact that this place expects me to allow them to take any amount of money from my card without informing me of the amount of the bill. I sent a complaint to the e-mail address on the restaurant website, but they did not respond.

The staff was very friendly, attentive and made our experience on the patio outstanding for us and our dog. He also enjoyed his chicken dinner served fresh from the kitchen. And tips are already included!

My first visit will certainly not be my last! The restaurant is inside the hotel lobby. Intimate with a bar, elevated booth tables, and a beautiful outdoor patio for an extended atmosphere. The patio has heat lamps and greenery for extra comfort. On a Tuesday early evening the spot was packed with customers getting drinks at the bar and dining at the restaurant. I had overheard the wait time for a table would be 40 minutes! I was lucky to have been a table for 1, and was quickly seated. In less than 15 minutes of ordering my food was served I was so impressed despite them having such a busy day. I ordered the bolognese and broccolini they were both soo good! The pappardelle was cooked just to al dente, tossed in a veggie meat sauce and sprinkled generously with shaved Parmesan. The sauce was light and sweet with tomato and carrot cooked down. It could've used more bits of meat, I hardly got much. My favorite was the broccolini. I regretted not ordering more it was divinee. Each piece had the most gratifying crunch, sautéed and roasted ends, chimichurri on top, and my favorite the sweetness of the broccolini wasn't masked by anything. That on its own proves the freshness of produce and expertise the chefs have preparing it.

I came here for my aunt's birthday and we had a wonderful experience! Our server, Celestino was AMAZING. So attentive, personable, and friendly. The food was delicious. We had a variety of salads, the pepperoni pizza, salmon, and toasted vegetables which were so good. We loved the private room for our party of 16. I look forward to coming back again soon!
