Had a slice of their basic Margherita pizza. It was square and had thick crust which was fine, but was almost devoid of any tomato sauce. So, I basically ate a thick slab of melted cheese on a buttery, thick piece of crust. If there was more sauce, it would have broken up the cheese a bit and provided more flavor. Sadly, this place was one and done for me.

It was our first and last time we will go to this restaurant. Our table was dirty and the lady who cleaned it did it with an attitude. Even while she was bringing our food and attending us, she was still dry. Not only with that, but the food was not that good and for the price that we paid for it was not worth it. The only thing that we liked was the girl cashier in front who did have a kind personality.

The food was very good. The 2 slices of pepperoni pizza shown cost 6 dollars and taste great. The bun has a fluffy texture with various toppings. Primarily really good marinara sauce and multiple kinds of cheese along with crunchy slices of pepperoni. The meatballs were also very good, although they aren’t in the picture. These meatballs are bathed in marinara sauce and Parmesan cheese, making for a really good and filling meal. I also advise not to get any dessert from the restaurant, primarily the panna cotta. Instead of the jelly-like, bouncy texture it is supposed to have, the dessert is more like the left-over cream from tiramisu (mascarpone cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, heavy cream) diluted with half & half. The flavor is frankly not good and the dessert costs 5$. I would also recommend to not buy beverages in the restaurant due to the marked up prices.

Tried a pizza slice for lunch. It had pistachios on top, which was interesting to me. I think it was the mortadella pizza? Square shaped, thick bread like focaccia(?) It was very, very good. The slice was heated up and it had a slight crispy texture on top and a hearty fluffy middle. Sat outside a on the rose gold colored metal chairs and got to eat the pizza with a knife and fork, looking out at the passersby and reminiscing of my past travels in Italy. Definitely want to come back and try other dishes. Highly recommend.

Decent pizza--I prefer thick crust pizza, which is what they serve, and their portions are very good. However, in comparison to other pizza places in the area, their tomato sauce is overwhelmingly tomatoy, so If you don't really like your pizza tasting like tomato then this isn't the place for you.

Food was mediocre. Service was ok, could be better. And the ambience wasn't the greatest either. Reminds me of a fast food place but as an Italian restaurant.

Good but not amazing. Solid choice if you're in the mood for pasta. There are better options if you want pizza. Don't bother with the salads.

Just got the bolognese for lunch. For me, the flavor is more like generic marinara sauce with meat in it. I am disappointed. I will give this place a second chance later.

UCLA, you're lucky to have such an amazing Italian restaurant nearby. Protect it at all cost! I've heard about it from a friend and she said they have affordable and authentic Italian food so my mom and I checked it out.We came on a Sunday afternoon. The vibe is casual yet cozy. The menu is small and straightforward...Pastas, Romanian Style Pizzas and some desserts. The pasta was cooked to order. We had CARBONARA and BOLOGNESE. Wow, the pasta was fresh and cooked al dente. Generous portions. It was one of the best pasta dishes we've ever had.We also tried their SAUSAGE and MUSHROOM PIZZA. Generous with the toppings and the dough was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Perfect!! It didn't need anymore condiment or whatsoever!Food was served in a timely manner and service was great! Highly recommend it!

The bread/pizza crust is the true star of Prince of Venice. I got the calzone (a spacial that day) and the crust was even better the stuff inside, which is never the case with calzones (what was inside was delish to be sure, but the crust really ruled the day ... just look at the pics). I've had the pizza here, too, and the crust sets it apart. It's almost spongy, and perfected rendered with just the slightest bit of oil on the surface. All their bread products taste like they were made from scratch onsite that very day. It's the homemade yeasty taste you only get from rising your own dough. Bellissimo! I've had the $36 truffle pasta before as well, and while that was epic (the truffle shavings are the size of Brussels sprouts), I actually think I preferred the calzone. The courtyard is always a beautiful place to dine, and the staff are always very nice. Don't miss this one!

This place is like a better pizza hut. Staff were friendly and helpful, the restaurant is like a to-go pick up window. Not really a dine in type of spot. I liked their pizzas.

The fresh pasta is delicious. It's a bit pricey but worth it. It's order at the counter, but service was good. Hope it stays open.

Great fresh pasta place with huge serving size. I've been here a lot of times and none of the pasta disappointed. This time I tried bucatini carbonara. The sauce is nice and thick and the pasta was cooked al dente. I also love how they let you customize your pasta by adding extra protein. I added shrimp this time and it went really well. The serving size is so big I packed it for to go and ate it for another meal! The service is nice. Ambiance is amazing. Nice and quant with a courtyard style outdoor sitting area. Will def come back for more.

The Maccheroni Tartufo is the real deal. Have tried a few other things..but this will keep me coming back. Just returned from Italy and this checks the box. This is a gem.
