Best ginger ramen with miso soup ever had. Low key area and reasonably priced. I would recommend! Parking lot is small but you can find some street parking. Happy hour is from 6-7 too! Good place to hand out and have ramen /drinks.

The best vegan spicy ramen I’ve ever had! Highly recommend if you’re looking for that flavor.

Most ramen joints I've had have been good but bangaichi is my favorite! Very authentic and flavorful! Been coming here for last 3 years and I have to say it's my favorite.

Before this place existed, there was a severe lack of ramen places in the area (there still aren't many). I remember it was basically Fukurou Ramen in Thai Town, which is decent but not great, and Silverlake Ramen, which always discouraged me with the very kong lines. So when Ramen Bangaichi opened, it immediately became my go to ramen place. The ramen is excellent and there's no waiting to get in (at least I never had to wait). It's a very casual and cozy place with friendly service. Aside from the ramen, I also really like their fried chicken.

This place is a MUST GO! Run by Japanese people, you will not find anything more authentic. The miso ramen, gyoza and fried tofu were amazing. I need to triple recommend the fried tofu. Will be back, thank you!

When I lived in the area, this was my husband's and my go-to ramen spot. Very laid back and chill place. We always got karaage to go with our ramens. It was the best combo, fried chicken and ramen. Add beer and it was a perfect meal. The service was always friendly. We always left satisfied.

The food was lovely. The service was lovely and quick. I'm always happy to support and eat a place where there are humble people working. Definitely come here :)

love this place! there are several ramen restaurants in silver lake, but out of all of them, this is without a doubt my go-to ramen joint. the spicy tonkatsu ramen is the dish to get. the staff here is beyond friendly, courteous, quick, and puts care into every dish. i love coming to ramen bangaichi! bonus for if you're reading this in a post-covid time: the atmosphere indoors is great and their happy hour specials are awesome.

Two stars for the vegan gyoza only. Ordered the spicy vegan ramen. Certainly the worst ramen I've had. The broth lacked flavor and was so greasy with sesame oil. The noodles were fine, but overkill on two types of onion (the green onion and some strange spicy onion). Threw it out after a few bites. Just not good.

I think all of their broths are solid and good, especially for the price and I'm very glad that they're in business. The new ramen spots close by (kens, tatsunoya) are considerably more expensive with smaller portions. Lately I've been subbing karaage in place of katsu for the curry, it's delicious. Good prices, good food, FRIENDLY STAFF.

Gluttony in a bowl of over-indulgent uni pasta! I was too greedy and ordered this for myself when it could be clearly shared. Decadent, rich, and delicious.
