I dream about their fried rice, it's that good. Their ramen is a clear, light broth that is much different and lighter from the offerings on Sawtelle, but it's just as flavorful and delicious. I recommend it if you're looking for a lighter broth. But definitely get at least a side of their pork fried rice!
This place is actually crazy. With a name like 'ramenya', next door to some Japanese Korean fusion and a crazy fusion menu with laksa ramen and mapo ramen, I was sure this place was not legit. Yet. The whole staff is Japanese from Japan, and it's clearly serving the community because everyone except me and my friend were Japanese or the partner of a Japanese person. A lot of 日本語 in the air. I always love coming here. You can tell they make the food with care. The ramen bowls are big. I love the agedashi tofu I always get it when I come here. The service is great and friendly and there is a parking lot in front.
