Service was impeccable, team works really well together. Mushroom skewers were great, beef cheeks were super tender and sundae was a cherry on top. I might be behind in my culinary knowledge but tasting red beans in the Sundae perfectly combined with the flavor of the ice cream blew my mind! Had no idea you can add beans to the dessert! Rasarumah will introduce you to new flavors, that is why it is called the House of Flavors. Good luck to the team!

Wins you over immediately. The room exudes confidence through thoughtful details: warm lighting, thoughtful wall colors, and whimsical Zoolander portraits that add personality to the stylish space.
The meal opens with a rendang beef roll: tender, deeply seasoned beef tucked into a soft, warm pita. The samosas follow, arriving looking like spring rolls, the crisp shells house a masala-spiced potato filling, complemented by a tamarind and mint chutney. The kanpachi crudo layers coconut, pear, and calamansi granita over fish that offers a firmer than expected, structure over silk bite. The rojak salad is pure vibrancy, balancing ripe fruit and herbs with the crispy shallots. Then comes the gulai panas. This is coconut curry done right, salmon with a crackling skin and a moist, tender interior and jasmine rice to soak up every last drop. Dessert is a cendol sundae, served with those long, reminiscent of my childhood, sundae spoons. It’s a textural playground of coconut pandan ice cream, chewy jelly cubes, earthy red bean and crunchy puffed rice. Throughout, the sichuan negroni provides a light, aromatic spice that refreshes the palate. Between the polite service and compelling flavors, Rasarumah is a complete vision and a top-tier contender in LA’s southeast asian restaurant scene.

Absolutely incredible! Some of the best beef cheeks I’ve ever had, and the pork jowl skewers were just ridiculously tasty. Cool interior and great cocktails, can’t recommend highly enough

The food was excellent, the flavor was on point, everything was a whole new experience, the service was amazing, I love that they explain how to eat everything. The alcoholic drinks, on the other hand, were not that great, but still 5 stars for the amazing food.

Malaysian here! It was my first time ever here, and I must say I have every reason to come back! Ordered the sambal appetizer (which the waitress pronounced so well!!) and Char Kuey Teow. I almost shed a tear when I took a bit of the Kuey Teow, it reminded me of Penang Kuey Teow (the state in Malaysia which is well known for this dish). Thank you for making this Malaysian feel at home, rasa macam rumah indeed!!!

Awesome food
Wow. What a great place to have great food and enjoy great atmosphere with really great and friendly service. Our first time here, celebrating my birthday and everyone was so kind and nice! The menu is not big, but it has enough that we want to come back and try some more. Every dish was interesting, had some very cool sauces and delicious greens on the side. The place is beautifully designed, feeling intimate and cosy. Very highly recommended ❤️

Restaurantji Recommends
I absolutely love this place. Everything from the vibe to the food is top notch. We got the Sambal trio, all the skewers, Char Kway Teow, and the Wagyu Beef Rendang. All the food was SO GOOD! But my favorite has to be the sambals. They went perfectly with the shrimp chips which I think are probably handmade. Highly highly recommend this place!
