everything about shim sham is great. super chill bad, great neighborhood atmosphere, people know each other here. friendships exist here. Paige and Devon are great at the bar. Lots of love to everyone there.
Didn't even know they have food as I didnt eat but this DIVE can easily replace any dive out there, and god knows I have many:) Come one, come all...all the regulars are uber friendly and this spot plays many genres of music to fit almost all peeps.
Underrated bar in LA. Friendly staff / great music.

Shim Sham is the neighborhood's cozy dive with a fun vibe, including karaoke on Tuesdays and western Wednesdays. The bartenders, such as Zack and Paige, create fantastic cocktails and provide friendly service. The bar has a horseshoe-shaped setup, which adds character and makes it feel like sitting at a big table with strangers. Cozy tables and comfortable seating areas are available for those who prefer not to sit at the bar. The place offers a cool and private spot for drinks under Christmas lights. The weekend atmosphere is lively with great music, making it a perfect spot for a good time. The happy hour is fabulous, and the drink menu is fun and affordable, with beer prices like Miller High Life at $5. Customers also enjoy ordering a pickle side, which they find delightful. The venue features a photo booth past the restrooms, adding to the fun experience. While the place is intimate and not usually too crowded, some feel it could benefit from more local bartenders to enhance the inclusive neighborhood atmosphere. Overall, Shim Sham is a lively, friendly spot with a cozy vibe and great character.
