Our favorite LA restaurant, and one of our favorites anywhere. Menu changes regularly and always unique dishes you can't find anywhere else. Everything made in house - pasta, desserts - everything, and always done and presented beautifully. What about the service? Spot on! Bar service, same. If you're in LA and love great, unique food, this is the place.

This has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants in LA. Stunning and that goes for the food as well. I love everything on the menu, but to narrow it down, you can't go wrong with the shishito peppers, avocado salad, hamachi, scallops, bone in rib-eye for 2 and creamer potatoes. They have a beautiful cocktail menu, but I always order my extra lemony lemon drop and it's perfect!! Service is outstanding. A perfect dining experience.

We went to Redbird for a date night. We had a lovely time. The food was delicious, the wait staff was incredible, and the atmosphere was gorgeous! It was our first time here, but we will definitely be back.

Great food (love the new Lounge Menu, and the desserts are unbelievably tasty)! And Tobin Shea is the best bartender in town!

The service was fabulous, and every dish was delicious! I took a small group for a business dinner and they were all very happy.

One of the best pork chop dishes ever! Just steps from the Hilton Doubletree Downtown LA. Highly recommended if you are in Little Tokyo, or anywhere in the Los Angeles area.

Lovely food for brunch, but our server was the real star — I believe her name is Clara. She was extremely kind and accommodating to our large party.

Went for my birthday with family. Booked a table looking forward to a good night out. BUT .. ended up leaving slightly disappointed. I felt like we were being rushed. My parents also commented on this before I said anything so it was clear that they were not being subtle about wanting to clear the table. I started noticing this as soon as the appetizers were cleared off the table. Since it was my birthday I tried to keep the mood light and when my parents made that comment I said “it's fine they're just being attentive” . They were coming by every couple minutes (sure ..to refill our water cups and ask if we were done with our plate but at one point it felt excessive). As soon as I said that, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt... the waitress came by with a check when we were not finished with our dinner. Felt like we were being asked to leave. Not saying anyone was rude.. all the staff there greeted us and were friendly and welcoming but just saying it can get quite uncomfortable when someone comes up every couple minutes asking if your done with your food.. The ambience and restaurant itself was beautiful. The food was not bad but not exceptional either.

Great food and good vibes. Slower service, but still good. Shrimp and grits were great, loved the lobster roll, burger and basque eggs. Great cocktails as well.

It's never a dull time at Red Bird. Best Restaurant in Los Angeles since they opened. But y'all messed up by taking the Gemeli off the menu. That's the best thing!!

A beautiful space in a wonderful historical building with gorgeous architecture. There were 4 of us on a fun double date night and the food was delicious and the service impeccable. The chef sent out Shishito peppers and the Parker House rolls - YUM! (and all of us were eyeing that last roll.) I am an appetizer grazer so, for my entree I had the avocado salad and grilled prawns - so good! The fellas had the John Dory and my friend had the Pappardelle. All plates were eaten CLEAN! We indulged in dessert, the fellas both enjoying the Rum Raisin Ice Cream. I had the Mandarin sorbet and my friend had the cranberry sorbet. All dee-lish!

I highly recommend Redbird for dates, friendship dinners or drinks in the lounge or at the bar. You will not be disappointed!

From the moment we arrived we knew this was a special place. The staff was beyond friendly and greeted us with warmth and made us feel welcomed. The location is beautiful and is a destination worthy of praise. We were there for brunch and the food was sublime. We never felt rushed and we were able to fully enjoy our food. We were also able to tour the cathedral/event room. Very impressive. We will be back.
