Had a great dinner here before going to Cirque de solelil at the Microsoft in Theater. We enjoyed everything that we had ordered. We ordered fish and chips, crabcakes with a side of asparagus, the gumbo, and a poke. The big easy spicy shrimp and sausage gumbo was absolutely amazing! My husband who isn't a big fan of seafood really enjoyed how flavorful the shrimps were. The beer battered fish and chips was massive! The portion of the fried fish was too big for my father-in-law to finish it all. I definitely enjoyed the presentation of the Hawaiian poke. They have a bunch of different options on their menu whether you're into seafood or steaks or even burgers! They had a huge selection of drinks also. I got their spicy margarita and it was amazing!

After 4 yrs of not going back to Rock N Fish no fault of theirs but due to 2 yrs of Covid we attended our local LA Kings game like usual and came in for dinner before game time and we weren't at all impressed like the first experience. My salad was a Wedge salad which most of the time anywhere is Iceberg lettuce which is 99% water and 0 protein but they are asking a whopping price for it. My Clam Chowder soup was more like Mulligan Stew and had so many other ingredients in it besides clams was totally overkill for clam chowder and tasted terrible it was the worst Clam chowder I've ever had. My wife saw nothing on the small menu for dinner so just ate a salad. So for 2 salads and a cup of chowder and 1 iced tea was a whopping 57.00 not including the tip. I dont mind paying even 80.00 or 100.00 for a dinner but it should at least be good food and worth it.

Walking around looking for something good to eat after coming out of a show at the Microsoft theatre; when the smell of seafood gazed over our noses . Thought we would have to wait a bit , but was pleasantly surprised immediately seated. Water came pretty fast. Looking at the menu and pictures off Yelp ... everything looked delicious. I decided on fish ... sounded good and the pictures made it look even better. Food came out super fast ... prolly between 10-15 minutes .... Ordered the oregon rockfish .. never had it before ... a little undercooked ... but the seasoning and sauce drizzled on it still made it good. Wish the fish temperature was a little hotter . It was warm ... but something about some hot seafood makes things even better. The Mac and cheese was good... cheesy just the way I like it. The broccolini was a little hard to eat with a fork... so decided to use my hands to eat it. Could of used a little seasoning but still good. The prices are kind of expensive ... between $25-$40 for a seafood entree. Convient location after an event .

Didn't even eat here. Business hours listed as open until 10 but walk in at 8:45 to be told they're closed they did last call no food or drink service. Food is prob trash anyway and trying to replicate New Orleans style which won't happen.

We scored in both food and service on Friday night. The entire staff was great, from the receptionists to the bussers; however our server, Amanda, shined above the rest! She was incredibly patient with my parents (who had no idea what to order), provided great recommendations and checked on us often. We arrive hungry, had no idea there was a Laker game (3/11) till we saw the crowds.. figured it would be a long wait till we ate.. and was pleasantly surprised with how fast our plates were on our table. The claim chowder was yummy, crab cakes were delicious and salmon was tasty. Amanda - "thank you again!" for everything!

Awesome place with fantastic food and drinks. Came before a hockey game and would come back in an instant. Kat, the bartender, was our server. She was so much fun and I would always request her! 10/10

On Friday 2/25/21, I was taking my 84 yrs old aunt to attend her 1st Lakers game and we dropped in for dinner. I order the salmon entry and my aunt ordered the teriyaki chicken entry. My aunt's teriyaki chicken was BURNT and should have never left the kitchen. I ask to speak to the manager who stated "it would take 20-25 mins to cook another teriyaki chicken entry", which was unacceptable since we were going to attend the game. A 2nd manager came to my table to apologize and offer an optional entry or a free entry, which was a nice gesture. Unfortunately, my aunt no longer wanted to eat there so we shared my salmon. Also, for the price, the salmon entry and sides were very small. Unfortunately, my aunt did not want to wait for a new entry so we shared my salmon entry. Also, for the price, the salmon entry and sides were very small for the price... One positive, our waitress was very nice and attentive...

NFL Experience Late lunch while visiting DTLA. The food was wonderful. Will definitely dine here again! The service was exceptional. Their staff are truly genuine and professionally kind. They are very accommodating.Note: the Bar are is fun! Although my party preferred outdoor tables. I will go back just to dine at the BAR!

I love the Rock'n Fish in Manhattan beach. Unfortunately, the GM Juan made our experience in DTLA less than favorable. He was rude and dismissive. We ordered the wrong item and a member of our party was allergic to what we ordered her ((she was in the restroom)). They tried to tell her to just eat it and add other items to her order. She did not. And the GM told her that he didn't care because he has to throw away her food. Thankfully, the other GM on duty took care of our order and he was able to remove the item. I gave the restaurant 3 stars because the food we received wasn't flavorable and the customer service was terrible. But our server, Matt was amazing.

Rock'N Fish Restaurant have a cool 90's vibe, they love 2Pac plus awesome food that's an A++ in my book. But your gonna have to wait in line 15-20 min. Buts is well worth it. I had the garlic fries Yum!!!! So if your in Los Angeles stop by Rock'N Fish Restaurant! Hi Stephanie thank you for your kind words and you know the wait in line it's totally worth it. I was just giving people a heads up but it's worth it.
